    I really hope they are doing something with Campaign, it was fun and a nice relaxing way to level.

      So /yell is apparently set to be filtered by default when I first log in. Odd.

      Odder still is that it can't be set to "hold" like all the other chat modes.

        *This filter will always be toggled on by default upon login.
        I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

          New armour vendor in South Sandy sells the level 10 scale set and the level 11 doublet set.
          You might be stopping to enjoy the game instead of rushing to cap, but that is not normal now. -Mhurron

            So basically they added vendors to each nation to sell items that you used to have to go to other nations for. This would have been awesome a couple months ago when I was leveling a lowbie job.

                Doing 99,999 Damage with Cure spells on Undead is working perfectly as intended. I don't know why they feel the need to fix this...

The wording of "readies target for a skillchain" remains consistent but Wild Flourish only lasts for 5 seconds. I think what everyone thinks it is, will be how it really is... It's just odd to me to have such a long duration for a TP machine like SAM.

                  Truth be told, I've yet to ever try to use BLU's 2hr... quite honestly, I don't even know how/when to use it. I've got a lot to learn on BLU yet.

                  The changes to the THF abilities. I have really wanted to save my WHM or BLM friends' asses but they are so far away now cuz of NM's crazy AoE and auras.

                  I've not tried Voidwatch... so I have no opinion. But I hope it's better for those that participate.

                  Cool... I can get more cards from Cthulu... er Chululu. That's neat. I collected all 4 not too long ago in case I ever lvl BLM. But I kinda like having one of them. If I wasn't so against "trophy-sh!t" in people's bazaar, I'd love to display "The Fool". Wonder what the next one in the questline might reward.

                  The changes to Campaign and Besieged are most welcome. I've been meaning to get back to the past to stomp those enemies I used to run from and this gives a bit more incentive to do so. I'm sure the evaluation is still slightly a bitch to get at my medal. I just wish that they made campaign a bit more predictable but that's kinda how SE attempts to make it 'real'. The unpredictable nature of war, that is.

                  The change to Dyna is nice. I'm tired of reiterating to people who apparently aren't listening at all that they need to use WSs that are weak. I mean they still should but at least this makes it easier for me to handle.

                  Cool. I think this is long over-due if it makes starter characters have a easier time playing an RPG wear it's difficult acquire different sh!t for your character. Met quite a few people who gave up on FFxi rather early for gearing-frustrations. I'm interested to see what has changed and if it's for the better. I also like that Conquest hierarchy won't be so influencial. It had it's place and time but nobody cares anymore really.

                  /yell ... hmmm I'm mixed... especially since it's a filter you must toggle 'on' every time you log-in. Am I gonna miss oppurtunities if I forget or just refuse to toggle it on? Am I gonna get annoyed cuz stupid conversations about genitalia are happening in both /sh and /yellsw? So I'm mixed w/ this one.

                    Well at least that fixes the bug with that ghoul that wouldn't count on page 2. I think there were two types of ghouls (some seemed more likely to cast Ice Spikes and Gravity) and they only got the more common kind.

                    The following refinements have been made to Campaign:
                    They still need to re-enable skill-ups.

                    Messages stating that a player received zero Allied Notes from a Campaign battle are no longer displayed.
                    That's an old one... at least they're finding and fixing some of the stupid little things that old-dev-team was too arrogant to even admit.

                    The following modifications have been made to Besieged:
                    They still need something to deal with the much faster rate at which pre-battle stuff happens these days.

                    It is now possible to repeat both the Collect Tarut Cards quest and this new quest.
                    Well, there goes the price of Sleepga II scrolls, lawl. Now go change The Gustaberg Tour to require level 10 instead of level 5.

                    Disruptor A darkness-based automaton attachment. Functionality: Use "Dispel"

                    Nice... oh wait... "certain equipment", which presumably means crafting item availability will still depend on conquest ranking.

                          RNG is far from lol, especially with Jishnu's Radiance.

                          RNG's problem is it can't stay off the shit-o-meter without sacrificing it's DPS.

                              The effect duration of the white mage ability Divine Caress has been increased from 1 minute to 3 minutes.
                              Wow that's actually a pretty huge nerf considering the buff only lasts for 60 seconds. That JA was incredibly useful since it stacks with Divine Veil and Accession, but with the cooldown being changed to three minutes...There just doesn't seem to be any reason why I should use that JA instead of a Bar-status spell, which is saying something given how unreliable Bar-Status spells are. Basically Barstatus spells only reduce the duration of a status effect and they can only stack with Barspells of the same element. If you need say, Barthunder and Barpoison up, you're shit out of luck and NEED to spam the hell out of Divine Caress.

                              Merits and Macro Gear have no effect in Bar-Status spells too since they give +MDB that stacks with Shellra V. With both at 5/5, you are reducing magic damage by 32% (Macro Gear...Basically they make Barspells ridiculously OP, especially with Relic Legs or the Orison +2 set in play). Barspell merits IIRC, do nothing to effect Barstatus spells.

                              This isn't a "ZOMG MY JOB IS RUINED FOREVER!" post; it is just me complaining that Squeenix finally gave WHMs a viable alternative to unreliable as hell Bar-Status spells and took them away for no real reason. The only ones really worth having are Barpetra and Baranmesra for obvious reasons. Barsleepra is pointless because Sublimation will wake you (If you have full Refresh Atma and are subbing RDM then you should GTFO my class) and AoE Paralyze is easily cured with Esuna or temps.
