[Update Details]

Battle-related

The following changes have been introduced to Abyssea:

- Sturdy pyxides in Abyssea areas will now appear in significantly greater quantities.

- Players will now have the option to manually destroy any unwanted pyxides.
*When exercising this option, the destroying player will receive a cruor reward proportional to the rank of the pyxis.

- The name of the player who successfully struck a fiend's weakness will be displayed in the message log.

- When performing atma infusions, players may now view and select from a list of their twelve most recently infused atma.
*Players will be able to infuse two or three atma at once using this list.
*This feature will function independently of the "Reinfuse previous atma set" option. Atma selected from the list will not overwrite the previous atma set, nor will atma infused via "Reinfuse..." be stored in the list.

YM, I'm going to assume you haven't gone anywhere near Abyssea, so you don't know how helpful these updates are. Look at the reactions in the Update announcement thread to see how players feel about it. I get that you feel you know enough about the game based on pure reading, but your sarcasm isn't really necessary here.

Hell, I'm a BLU and my job was going to get an update along with other jobs. I'm not upset that it didn't come today, because I didn't expect it to.

The Pyxide thing is damn useful for the temp items alone. Sometimes Often you will end up in an alliance where one of the WHMs is leeching or taking a nap and you have to start spamming cross-party cures to keep two parties at once alive, and you might not always be able to camp on the dispenser to keep your MP topped up.

More main quest NM pop items and more chances at AF3 drops is always nice too.
