    For ponies to jump over it of course.

    Hmm, you know what would be supermegagundam awesome? If they actually got Hirano-san to make a few samples so Prishe would actually say something from time to time.

      There's only 3 things that made me like Prishe, and none of them happened during the first 90% of CoP:
      1) She can dropkick Chuck Norris and it would make him vulnerable to mortals such as us.
      2) They (literally) humanized her during the epilogue, and her behavior changed noticeably. So it's clear her immortality affected her judgement/attitude.
      3) She was adorable during the first Bahamut fight cutscenes. I don't know if she continues to be afterwards, because I never got to do the fight, but that scene was worth doing CoP.

      So basically it's not so much that she was a likeable person, it's just that she redeemed herself pretty hardcore at the end.

      Is Abyssea Prishe as immature as the real, pre-CoP 8-4 Prishe? I'd hope not, as that wouldn't make her very interesting.
      I never got past Three Paths in CoP due to my CoP perma tearing itself apart so I honestly didn't know she gets humanised at the end.

      Basically the RDM assumed I would run it around his schedule and he would never turn up to farming sessions or get his cutscenes done before we would do out weekly Mission Fight. it attitude actually drove the original leader of the perma (She had WHM, BLM, RDM and BRD levelled and I think she also had NIN or DRG so was very useful) to quit and pass the leadership to me (WHM, BLM, SMN, PLD, COR). Did I mention that that RDM ONLY had RDM levelled and we could replace him at any time? We did, he threw a hissy fit and tore apart the perma and split the Linkshell in two by spreading all sorts of shit about me, also turning a fellow sackholder against me in the process (who also caused a hell of a lot of trouble for me later before I quit the game).

      According to that sackholder, apparently just because I got along really well with the LS Leader I'm clearly his favourite, he doesn't care about the other officers and I'm being given special favours because we actually helped each other out with things. Apparently I also sucked up to him to get promoted when I really got promoted because I was the only one who would take the time to help out the newbies, XP with them and help them get SJ items, Whitegate and Airship stuff, camp NMs and redo mission BCNMs I hate. All she did was bitch and moan at people who wouldn't drop everything to help her then try to get people to leave the LS for her's.

      Anyway sorry about the rant, mentioning CoP brings back a lot of bad memories.

          Except for the US statue you would get Julie Nathanson yelling at you. Not that it would take much to find the dats and switch them...

                  Okay... um... I really hope those of us who bought these additions for full price get this beret. Unless the statue grants you this:

                  "Destrier Beret, which packs in loads of bonus effects like increased skill gain, extra movement speed and both magic and health regeneration." ~ Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition coming to Windows in May | Joystiq

                  I'm a bit jealous and am thinking: FUCK (not literally) the furnishing (unless it gives you the same bonuses)!!! Have I misread and we actually get both?

                  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nevermind ~~~~~~~
                  I guess the little beret only has one charge? ... is this one charge forever or is this one charge every few hours/days... sorry I can't get anywhere on the webs to check it out myself...
                    What I don't get is all the QQ'ing over the Beret at BG.
                    If I'm reading the text correctly, it only works for jobs level 30 and below. SO WHO EVEN REMOTELY GIVES A SHIT AT THIS POINT?!
                    It's not like getting to 30 is hard these days anyway with all the adjustments they've made for anyone who hasn't gotten all their jobs caught up yet. It's just more shit that we all would have loved to have had years ago I think.
                      Very true. I'd have loved this a while ago even more than now. I'd still like it so I could get all the jobs I want to 30 for the /jobemote if nothing else, lol. I would say that this is a pretty nice piece of gear for a starting player... returning or virginal... this hat is pretty epic. Would help someone catch up quicker in the top-heavy world of Vanadiel.
                        Well, yes, it WOULD be nice for a new player. Hence why they are offering it with the all-in-one pack of the entire game. For the new players.
                        I mean, yeah, I wouldn't turn it down either, but the official response on the forums is that no, we won't be getting that unless we pay the $20. So, is it worth that price for you? It's not for me.
                          It can be done but that doesn't work for me because seeing Prishe saying "I'll take care of your items, kupo!" It's just, you know...
                          We are talking about the case where they actually added voice to the statue, then I'd dat swap it for the Japanese version to get Hirano Aya's voice.
                          All very hypothetical too.
                              I know exactly where you're going with this... but I'm telling you, having a mirror on the ceiling is absolutely worthless as it's really hard to get the camera angle right for that ... type of thing.
                                Also, yes Yggy I believe you can, you just can't make the walking area bigger from what I'm told, but you could definitely mod the look of your room.
