Hmm. I full-timed Hagun, Rose Strap, Brutal Earring, and Lightning Bow +1* on SAM.


* Yes, was too lazy to farm gil for better item in Ranged/Ammo for the longest time. But, hey! I did get a Thew Bomblet last night! But, that's still a full-time item, just newer.

So Sabateur is awesome. 6 minute Slow 2 with max 78% slow is sickening. Para 2 for me seemed to jump to about 65%-70% proc rate. Addle I have not used. Gain teir is pretty nice, seems every 10 points of enhancing or so over 300 gives you a +1 to the stat.

However.....

One of the few things I looked forward to in this update, is again not usable by RDM. Instead they choose to keep DRK and WAR who do not use Swords, really ever, on the list of Ex. WS. SAnguine Blade is DRK,PLD,BLU,WAR only, so again RDM is left out of a clearly useful and magical based WS. FUCK YOU SE, FUCK YOU.

Bleh, and I wont get the Chant of Zorro for a very long time so I guess 3+ hits Savage Blade (/DNC) and Shamshirs +1 will have to do for a very long time.

On a bright note, just did Walk of Echoes as RDM/DNC and got claim to the first place treasure, and...... ...... and..... I got 2 shitty wyvern tailskins, thanks a lot SE.

But i did win the lot on a belt with some conserve MP and some HmP on it. AH says it sells for 300K..... I like free money.

You can use it if you sub these jobs. I suppose that isn't much better though. Attempted to use it in an Abyssea EXP party and it consistently did about 800 damage. That was without MAB atma. I'd love to join an EXP party again and attempt to use it with atma activated.

I just got done doing an abyssea as RDM85/DRK37 just so I could use this WS, and I must say I am considering DRK as my primary DD sub now simply because of this WS. Even without DW my DPS numbers were considerably high (peaking around 16.xx) compared to what I was as /DNC (peaking around 12.XX and not using any TP abilities other than WS Evisceration and later Aeolian Edge.) Having a consistent 750DMG (average) WS was awesome.

Not to mention Soul Eater and Last resort are sexy boosts every few minutes, and being able to consistently keep my HP topped off with cures and sanguine allows me to get the most from souleater as it consumed the most HP possible nearly every time.

With the prospect of Ocumen at 90/45 to reimburse me for casting nukes or dark spells (drain/bio) at a rate of 10% (unless subbing halves it) of the cost, will be nice. (15 TP with fire 4 more with blizz and thunder when we get there) will be nice.
