Would it be ironic if someone magically stopped you by some god-like powers of forum administration from banning all of us due to our lack of understanding the common language of sarcasm?

I'm sorry Balfree, but when I see "Deus Ex Automata," the first thing I think of isn't "Deus Ex." The first thing that comes to mind is the plot device Deus Ex Machina.

My thought was the Moi Dix Mois song, "Deus Ex Machina" and coming from a Japanese developer, that might be intentional.
I'm sure there are some Mana fans in Square-Enix.
