Out of curiosity, what else do these changes mean to the players?

Mobs get these spells and abilities as well, if they didn't have them already.

Probably won't amount to much, if anything, but still, just curiosity here.

Doubt it will amount to much, unless SE makes mobs function smarter. Kind of like Shadowhand sleepga teirIIIga or how capaign mobs will wake each other up and -na each other buff each other. Generally Ally(party, 1) vs 1 mob the mob is stupid. For example RDM mobs bio or poison or dia then sleeping. The traits however could proove a bit costly. For example Crit dmg bonus, could hurt PLD's a bit more. Overall though since mobs get the tools, naturally we have the knowledge to counter said tools.

Would be funny though if their tools worked like ours, where a DRG mob does high jump and sheds 50% of his hate from the PLD, or Spirit jumps and makes the tank gain hate 50% slower.

My favorite is this tendency of WHM mobs to cast Silena on themselves after Silena wears off. I have no doubt, after BLMs get Break, we're going to see some of them even casting Stona on themselves.

But it's because of things like this that one wonders why 99% of the game would "suck". All I have to do is point at Mamool ja Blusterer and say, "Look! This is what you're up against! How could any of you possibly lose?!"

Now imagine, at the Mamool ja Staging point camp, if the Puks were programmed to consider player positioning in what weaponskills they use, "Hey, that BRD is buffing the melee in such a positioning that, if I were to use Wind Shear right now, it would blast him right into the Skoffins and much hilarity would ensue."

What would the game be like then?

I've seen people's DD's get one shot'ed before they could set-up a skillcain on Jailer of Love for the BLM to MB. I think he's a cut above the rest though...... or is that thing a she?

Though, it was really kind of a fluke. But it did happen twice in one run. lol....

And to be honest, I've seen Mamool Ja's using Rushing Drub... (or is it Flushing Rub)...and one shot someone that was in the yellow before they could get off a WS. I think the game "knows" when you're about to "lay the smack down" so to speak and has the ability to anticipate when you're going to do x action.

...... oh, and I've had a train of ghosts stun me me simultaneously while running away, much to my dismay and death....

Comedic. I think if mob AI was better it would bring more tactics to the game. Id love to see mobs with a smart brain. Would make things a little more challenging.

However in the end Genbu would still be lol, no matter how smart he got, he is still slow as fuck.

On the topic of smart A.I. I present to you:

Shoggoth is such an effing prick... I am starting to really hate him. A lot. He is a BLM/RDM or some shit, and he chainspells every 20% or so. But he is a clever bastard. He just toys with me as I kite him around out running his spells, and making his TP moves useless. But he gets me back eventually with chainspell SLEEPGA II, making my kiting useless as he catches up and begins nuking my face off. Should I reapply shadows, I eat another -ga to the face, should I try and run out of range, you bet your sweet ass I get to go to sleep again.

Oh and don't try Poison pots, he will just keep sleeping you every time you move and through a few nukes at you.

Seriously this guy is a cnut.

The strangest thing happened a couple of months ago (it was strange because this is the 2nd out of the blue contact trying to buy my stuff in the past year), a guy that I haven't heard from in a long ass time, got in touch with my son and asked him how much it would cost to get me to sell a couple old FF7 JP collectibles I have. (one was the music box with Aerith's theme, another was a statue of Aerith's death, and the chrome statue of Aerith or Cloud) I just told my son to tell him "way more than you have" and leave it at that. So I decided to look them up on Ebay after that and couldn't find anything. I wonder how much I could get for that stuff. I bought the music box for $75 about 4 years ago or so and I think I could easily double that, I've been offered $375 for the death scene statue, and $75 for the chrome statue.

TGM, we might have to talk if you have the statue of Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile that SE released a few years ago.
