Call it an incomplete expansion. Call it an annoyingly slow storytelling. Call it an extortion for access to zone/gameplaybattlefields/storylines.

Whatever you want to call it, though, I already got more than my money's worth from the Altana expansion. And, more to come. That, is more than good enough for me.

Is WoE actually fixable?

After learning how it skews the reward toward front line jobs, I certainly haven't felt like organizing an LS alliance to try it out. "Oh yeah, I want three healers and two to three BRDs, but you guys won't have a chance at the rewards because SE says you are just slaves for the tanks and melees."

As an outside observer, I just want to say that however incomplete WTG is, you guys spend an awful lot of time talking about how you're busy with its content.

Perhaps it's taken too long to get the rest of it out, or perhaps you're dying to get on with the storyline, but you certainly don't seem to have a lack of things to do in the expansion. I'd say that's a pretty good reason to release it before it's 'complete'.

And I know for a fact that people bitch just as loudly when SE gives them too much to do.

That's true, I had alot to do STANDING AROUND OUTSIDE A DOOR, WAITING IN "LINE" because fuck wad SE can't code a zone to not share the same location? as Maze moblin mongers >< 3 groups in at a time ONRY. Again were getting into semantics here, InI had it right, i have gotten alot of enjoyment out of WoTG, I can't lie.

But I also think/know America is the greatest country on the planet, and we still have a shit load of stuff wrong with us that we can fix.

As to the magian trials, I can forsee some real frustration on the horizon for that as the choice of EP mobs at 90 and 99 is going to be pretty much restricted to Abyssea.

Minimum Easy Prey (and aggro) mob levels are the same for 75-80, and presumably will be all the way to 99.

A 99 will only get 4xp off of a level 56 mob according to current extraploations, but 4xp is still not zero. And in fact, you have stated the likely reason for this.

Not entirely true…I have a magian trial that involved killing ghosts during ice day/weather. In Fei’Yin (sp) there are some ghosts that are EP and aggro to 75 (not all of them though). The EPs gave credit. At 76…all were too weak/no credit.

i think the next higher leveled ghosts i saw ranged ~5 levels higher than Fei'Yin's (the ones kuftal i believe)...so i wouldnt be suprised if they become too weak next update as well

I was thinking more along the lines of items from events that can take months or even years to show up acquire suddenly being regarded as complete and utter trash.

Along this vein.. I have to laugh at all the non-Hagun SAMs I see suddenly out in Abyssea and that Hagun is now under 500k. I've not seen one SAM out do Hagun with all the Mag-trials or even the relic GK. I may be wrong and maybe I've missed something but unless MagT comes out with a "TP Bonus" augment I don't think Hagun will be dethroned any time soon.

My DNC Etoile pants says hi... used to be one of the best pieces for DNC and I know someone who won that tier from the moogle bonanza and chose that as a prize cuz they couldn't fit endgame into their schedules... now it's totally lesser to Aurore which you can get for like 10k now.
