And you just thought you'd try and look important by spouting false information out your ass and complaining about things that aren't really an issue.

Just because you only care about 2 of the multiple different versions of the trial weapons out there doesn't mean those 2 weapons are the only ones people can get that are worth anyting. And hell, of those 2 weapons, only 1 actually needs any kind of HNMLS to get, the other can be gotten by a small static of endgame players. Which will actually be even easier to get once the level cap is raised.

And for all we know at this point, that weaker OAT weapon may actually gain additional trials to make it even equal to/better then the stronger one. So again, just because the 1 knife you want requires an HNMLS shell to get doesn't mean the other 20+ versions of the weapons which can all be used effectively will need one. Especially since at this point any weapon can see a boost in strength.

But you just seem to enjoy bitching for the sake of bitching, so I guess I'll just let you continue on pouting about all the evil things this game makes you do.

Too bad the T3 Fairy (verth???) is for dagger item...we kill her ~3 times a week.

Why would they make you need to kill HNMS...

I think that was a stupid move on SEs part (Or very smart move depending at how you look at it, as it will keep the hardcore players playing even longer.).

ya i agree with Takelli....why would they make you grind through hundreds of mobs and weeks of your time soloing to get the right amount of kills to then have ppl try and get a party of ppl and then even an alliance together and repeadedly kill these NMs to get sertain items. So unless you have a large group of friends that are willing to help or some type of LS its hard to get the augments. (I don't have the time atm to join a HNM LS that would fight these types of mobs)

Let’s put it this way. It wouldn’t surprise me if that happened. I don’t see Kings or Wyrms trials happening but I could see NMs like Serket or Roc being a possibility (if their not already ><)
At least the ones where you have to kill VNMs you can pop those at your own leisure.

I wouldn’t mind trials where you need to kill higher amounts of families. I just hope theirs less emphasis on ‘the finishing blow’ trials

Dude not even, T3 VNM are very easy (apparently).

Krab can even be soloed by some jobs.

What job solo’d Krab?

I fought him a few days ago and he was a complete bitch. Granted it was pet style which is completely different form the norm but that crab hit somewhat hard, moved very fast, had a mean poison and spammed TP moves like it was it’s job…

Romyro there are actually a couple vnm that can be soloed. i havent tried or seen only read. heres a link to a guy that has recorded his data on his many attempts to get it right. It was actually really interesting .

ha, not a big deal. T2s are semi tough as well but the majority i've seen can be beat with a group of ~6 (havent seen that many though). Those solos are impressive no doubt, but not too suprising, espically from Kanican.

and i'm not doubting Mal, just more say 'wow...really? who/how". That crab cost me about 10k xp. i'm interested to see how someone solo'd it.

Ya im intersted too...cuz im at trial 159 i think for RDM/PLD/BLU sword thats similar to joy and stuck at killing the 300 cluster mobs (not that thats hard just time consuming if im tryn to solo them). then all i need is the 10 items for the teir4 boss and if i can solo/duo a couple then that'd be awesome

Several people have successfully solo'd Krabkatoa using a pinning techique, nukes and dots. Seems to take 1-1.5 hrs.

ok...good point not a complete waist

When you finally get to 75 and are able to do the Trials get back to me with your experiences of attaining an OAT weapon.

Still, I can't wait to see what further cool stuff can be applied to that already sexy Magic Accuracy+10 Soulsaber.

If it is able to eventually be augmented with Occasionally Attacks Twice, then sure, I'll get back to you on that.

Or am I being pedantic simply by getting excited over one of the many weapon paths that just so happens to not be the one for each weapon that requires anything at all relating to HNMs?
