On Gilgamesh, we own the Throne Room, so everyone and their brother has an Allied Ring that gives 9000xp bonus crap.

I'm starting to wonder if lolBismark will take it even with caps going up.

On slyph this is what we did, and it worked wonders

-2100 EST my linkshell (started around a full alliance) made our way to castle ZB, and started killing campaign mobs.
No Exp, no skill ups, no reward other than the fact that we knew this was the only way we were gonna unlock the BCNM.
--Xarc and Beuc got taken by the general populus, so we didn't have to break off any resoucres that way
-2300 EST one of the bigger JP endgame shells showed up also, and we proceeded to just slaughter the campaign mobs.
--it's like a dynamis with shitty drop rates, but with an alliance, it's actually pretty easy to do.
-It took about 4 hours of kiling to reduce the beastmen's bar from full to well below ours, and another 2ish hours to cap ourselves out
-- so around 0100 EST we moved into the Keep, and did the same thing. Occasionally CB would start and support units would show up, and that speeds the process up, but it still sucked and turned into a major time sync on everyones part.

The BC got spammed all week, and then we lost all of the north except for throne. Allied rings galore, and I was hoping that some people other than ourseves would take the initiative and re-claim the 4 zones, but yeah.... didn't happen.

Anyway, if you can get a good group of folks to just kill for killings sake up there, it only takes a night/morning /shrug

We just got ours last week on Sylph.

It was kind of amusing late Friday when there was another big zerg rush on the campaign battles, just as campaign was starting to return to "normal". Apparently people suddenly realized they needed another rank or a few more notes.

But yes, the Allied Ring does give more total XP (45k vs 30k) than the Anni Ring. It makes you work a little harder for it (6000 base xp in 12 hours, rather than 3000), and has that long cooldown time, but the best is to have both rings.

I'm just happy that I can get xp in campaign again, but this will really help me finish leveling RDM. I just used up my first Anni ring charge out in the desert.

Again, lolBismark. It's like SE merged two short busses an an attempt to create a normal buss, but the end result was something more horrifying than they could have ever imagined.

You can't collect it if you missed it during the event. They only did that the first year of Anni rings when we were told to never throw them away because we couldn't get another. I missed out on getting one for my Elvaan by a few mins last year.

Anyone complete the Moggiebag quest? I had trouble getting to the 2nd floor of Heaven's Tower. I am assuming you have to have gotten to a certain point in the Windurst missions to get to that floor. Is this correct?

One of my ls mates completed it, but she is Rank 10 with Windurst.

Anyone complete the Moggiebag quest? I had trouble getting to the 2nd floor of Heaven's Tower. I am assuming you have to have gotten to a certain point in the Windurst missions to get to that floor. Is this correct?

True.... and it's a bit of a dick move on SE's part on that quest. Tavnazian access is pretty out of reach (during the event timespan) for a lot of people I know. I understand that it's a greater reward for being more adventurous, but, imHo, it's still a BS move.

However... I was able to complete it since I just recently switched to Windy and have CoP complete. First charge was 5.4k gils. Thing that made it a longer quest than necessary for me was that I missed the instruction of talking to the NPC twice. I had to repeat a few things, lol... but no big thing... still feel pity for those unable to get the moggiebag.

Oh... and I must say the event clothing we got this time is proly the best outfit I've seen .... I'm proly gonna keep the top piece in my inventory so everytime I switch to BLM for Warp, I'm not nakedz and look rather vampy.

You start it from a separate moogle from the one that gave you the anni-ring. In Sandy they were opposite the AH in S. Sandy. In Windy they were outside the resaurant in Windy Waters.

It's on wiki... otherwise I'd never have known where to go either. Each nation should be done before the Kazham, Jeuno, and Tavnazia portions cuz those NPCs won't talk to you about it until you've spoken twice to the Windy, Sandy, and Basty NPCs (legislative zones).
