          They're going to announce that Time Mage has been in the game this whole time and we've just been doing it wrong all these years. Then they'll show us a vague video with no clear indication of exactly how to unlocck it.

            I believe SE may have said the job Time Mage was a possible drop from AV with a rate of .000001%. Course you have to have a Blm hit AV with a Lightning spell of 1.21 gigawatts whilst a Thf flees towards AV at 88mph.

            ... sorry... can't find that officially anywhere.

              They're going to announce I already have Haste, Bind, Gravity, Slow, Slow II and an ability that is basically Quick that lasts for 60 seconds so I should shut the hell up.

                This month, we have some exciting news for Black Mages. We are currently discussing new ways for Black Mage to aid the party in battle. Look forward to increased activation of the Job Trait, Conserve MP, as well as decreased resistance to Magic Bursts. In addition, we are considering giving Black Mages the spells Dread Spikes and Absorb TP so that they may support the battle by being able to absorb damage when they became the enemy's target and occasionally reducing their TP. Stay tuned for more information in coming announcements!

                      No, not yet.

                      It's so hard to be excited for these things any more now that I know that the Red Mage update has already happened (and already almost a year ago, too!). Only games I'm playing nowadays are Brawl and Pokemon; as much as I'd like to do more FFXI, Pokemon has higher priority due to HG/SS incoming.

                        Leaning more and more to console gaming myself to be honest. I've wrestled with which job to take to 75 next and come to the conclusion even if I want to there's just no exp to be had outside of astral burns or the infrequent merit parties. Feels like the party game in FFXI is slowly withering away to be replaced by nothing short of sync down exploits and Campaign Battle exp crawls.

                            I feel your pain. Its hard to get a party at this moment. Or if you do, it can some times. (Mostly), suck. Then comes the merits. For rdm, its easy as hell. Just sit there, cure and haste. Thats all.

                            Just wish this game would go back to where it was in 2004... was so much funner back then....
