Don't forget that you have to be close enough to be actually invited to the party (same region), unless you form party before the leader goes to wherever they're going.
With enough advance planning this could be useful for headstones and Parradamo Tor and stuff, but zooming across half the world, not so much.
Oh, another one: Antica gate. It's a pain in the butt to re-collect all the people who went to flip switches and have the person who was at the gate let them all in one at a time, but if the leader is the one standing at the gate, everyone else can just nexus to him/her.
The ledge in Sauromugue -- it's not as evil as it was before, but now it's even less evil. Ditto the island in Batallia, although it will still take at least two people to get the leader there.
But all of those specialized uses rely on people having the cape ready for use, which means *not* routinely using it because you were still buying food on AH while the rest of the party headed to camp.
