Yeah, they seem to work in dungeons too, as I had quickening in Delkfutt Tower, and in Stellar Fulcrum.

Because then each person would have to find all 11 tablets individually and trigger his own Kupowers every single time. And that'd be an insane pain in the ass that would practically make it not worth it when you only get 3 of the Kupowers at random.

Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Hmm... I'd rather have to do a really hard 8-hour time sink mission and get a 1 time ring... then have a random event and chance at getting the ring more than once (if that's possible?)

Leveling is just more fun when you know you are getting a huge exp bonus... And I'm pretty sure that the tablets are gonna be taken super super quick for a looong time to come, because that ring is just tooo good. and mostly likely I won't even be on...

I also agree with Raydeus... I don't think the Kupowers are that great for me personally, I'd rather enjoy an exp bonus... sure teleporting from city to city is nice (but no jeuno?? ;_; ).. but but...

it's just not the same as having a huge exp bonus ring... [[And if it was any other amazing item for a class I could totally live without it!!! I know I'll never see hardly any great great endgame gear, because it doesn't suit how I am able to play (time/my static)..]] But !!! an EXP ring.... is just ...

anyway, that's just my 2 cents about the event. whoever finds one is a lucky bastard!!

How much more bonus EXP do people really need? Between CP EXP bands, the Anniversary Band and FoV, as well as bonus activities like Campaign and Besieged and goodness knows what else, it's not as though we're not already drowning in bonus EXP as it is!

The Casket drop rate boost is pretty good. Was keeping track of my drops in Behemoth's Dominion.
1 Blue and 6 Brown out of 37 mobs. Still no Sabatons though. This is bull

Edit: Also, those bats were dropping fangs like crazy. Don't know if that means anything since I never farm bats.

Well, playing on Euro hours and having a smaller playerbase, and hence a reduced number of parties, to chose from I like to capitalise on every possible chance I can to level and make the grind far more bearable.

I think it would have been a far better idea for the tablets to have a percentage chance to yield a ring and for them to keep repsawning until all 11 were found within a week. That way people regardless of play schedule or timezone would have an equal chance of gaining a ring.

I can certainly understand that. I play at what is essentially EU times, and getting EXP can be a bit of a chore.

Someone already gotten all 11 tablets on Phoenix server and I decided to go Casket hunting.

I was trying to get herder's sublgar to drop in Sauromugue Champaign. In a two hour period 32 chests, 22 where brown, and I opened 18 of them. I did not get the drop but I got about 28 slots worth of potions +2/3 and Ether +1/2. A mythril ring, Brass Cuirsass, and mythril bolts for my trouble.

On the first day, I got two Phlegethon's Trousers, in two successive brown chests. Of course this being a rare/ex item, and being the third and fourth ones that I've found, it didn't do me any good. But it did suggest that maybe there was some truth to the speculation of those chests being based on some sort of "treasure pool".

So does anyone have any idea what the emergency maintenance was about? I wouldn't be surprised if it was kupower related. It would be funny if they suddenly realized they were turned on in BCs and had to patch it. (Yeah, let's fight Maat with kupower Refresh!) One of the first things on my list when I get a chance is to check out Balga's Dais for kupowerness.

Treasure Hound: Signet will grant you the Gilfinder and Treasure Hunter abilities.

Because bats don't exactly drop fangs "like crazy" in my experience.

So, let's recap: Signet has now become awesome for skilling up, awesome for farming (and gathering in general), awesomer for exp parties . . .

S-E really wants us to use those Signet areas, don't they? At least for Adventurer Appreciation, anyway.

If they did anything about that, they didn't mention it in the update notes:

- An issue was addressed where the augments are not functioning properly on the the Hand-to-Hand weapon "Manoples" if a "Delay" augment is attached.

That's the only fix listed, though (and was the only "current known issue" before the maintenance).

There has been a lot of discussion as to when the next round of the brand new “Mog Tablet” event would be kicking off – so we wanted to drop in and provide some clarification. One week after the 11th Mog Tablet has been recovered the event will begin again at a random hour. In addition, each World will have its own random start time; therefore not all Mog Tablet quests will begin at the same time across all Worlds.

We hope that this will shed some light on the future of this exciting new quest and that everyone is enjoying the benefits of the new “Super Kupowers”!
