Oh yeah. Forgot the tablet descriptions are in this topic, I didn't feel like searching for it.

I'm wondering if it is TH+1 or if everybody gets TH. In that case THF could possibly have TH5 and /THF subbers could have TH2.

Anyways I'm just rambling, I can't wait to get home.

So I finally used up last night's XP ring charge and started going around a bit. It looks like the effects do include cities and dungeon areas, it's just the Mog Tablets that are limited to the list of areas. Which are the "certain areas excluded"? BCs, I'm sure, but at this point I can't think of anything else.

And the Refresh/Regen from Signet is a latent effect that only works to half the bar, just like Sigil. Still, this could be a fun time to level Summoner, if I were planning to any time in the near future.

Well, I was asleep last night when all the hoorah was goin on and woke up this morning to check muh game (was idle last night) and it appears within about an hour or so, all 11 tablets were found on Gilgamesh.

So man,... wow... o.0 that's certainly interesting. 11 ppl a week getting a mog ring.... >.> that's just poop

Guess they must not be that hard to find so it really is worth spending the time trying to find one and the bonuses are great. All in all, I guess I'm pretty glad about the bonuses. Just sux you have to compete terribly for yet something else in game that's super-uber-nice. Well, back to camping Vali Bow..............

Ahhh using the ring to level nin again will take some of the sting out of it. Now if only I could find some unselfish people to help me get Ni... /sigh

That reminds me, I need to do something with all those beastmen and kindred seals I have ... I mean, if it weren't for the orb vendor storing them, I'd probably be down 10 storage!

Also, it looks like all the tablets were found on Midgard too ... free OP warp to Xarc when it was under Beastmen control. I have FAR too many Thief's Tools, and the Baileys chest and coffer seemed a good way to use them up!

Wrong game. When has FFXI ever been about a quick and easy option? Although things have been heading that way recently. Sometimes I miss the old FFXI, things are getting too easy.

After you reach a certain level wasting half an hour to get to an area does not add to the difficulty, nor does it enhance the gameplay in any way. And for people with limited time it can mean the difference between getting at least something done for the day or go play something else.

Unless you are into pointless time sinks as a substitute for gameplay difficulty that is.

LOL in the past 3 weeks, we ran like 12 BCNMs of Under Observation. Ended up with like 3 Ni Scrolls, 3 Phalanx scrolls, and 2 full wipes. PCC Drop would've been the only thing that could've made the day sweeter.

Ah I forgot completely that it was last night I thought it was tommorrow night. Haven't got to see any of the bonuses in effect yet but maybe tonight if I am free to log in.

Not sure if it's been asked but how exactly are they going to implement this going forward? It's a little hard for me to get excited about 11 weekly groundspawns that pop at 4 in the morning and are snaffled up within 10 minutes of their appearance.

Ya this looks like one I'll be missing out on. There's no way in hell that I can be up that late/early for something like that. First thing hubby did when I got up was bitch to me about how Midgard's were already found and how impossible it was going to be to get a ring.

If they do it on Tuesday mornings at 1:00EST I'll never get one... I go to bed at 12 so the only way I'll possibly have a chance to get one would be on days when I dont work which are mostly weekends and holidays. I think they should've done it on conquest Sundays too, at least i'd have a chance lol.

If they do it at the same time every time, regardless whether it's conquest tally or not, they're leaving out some section of the population. That's why the effects go for a week, then there's a "set period of time" before the tablets pop again. That plus the few minutes it takes for them all to be found assures that the quest start time rolls around through various time zones.

Unless that's just crappy translation and they're just going to reset it at the same time every week.
