Dev2: What if there were some way we could keep the players from reselling their items, so crafting markets didn't get flooded?
Dev1: Hmm, interesting. But there would have to be some incentive.
Dev2: We could give the items additional stats in exchange for making them ex.
Dev1: That's a good start but why don't we take it further?

Dev1: If we make the new items worse then the players will have to go and buy new ones.

And Blu seems to have been borked in the update as well.

Sounds like most of the multi hit spells are doing somewhat less damage, while some of the other spells like Head Butt seem to have gotten a damage boost. I've also read that /blu spell damage is unusually high.

Suddenly I'm not liking this update so much.

BLU spells were listed in the known issues yesterday, and supposedly fixed in the emergency update. But there's another emergency maintenance today:

The Blu issues they fixed were for the ranged spells, Feather Storm and Pinecone Bomb for instance. Here's hoping they fix the rest of 'em.

- An issue causing a decreased amount of damage done by Automaton's melee attack has been addressed.

- An issue causing an increased amount of damage done by certain blue magic has been addressed.

- An issue has been addressed where during the quest "The Long March North," there are times when the quest will not correctly progress after the player checks the "Warding Door" near (E-7) in Fort Karugo-Narugo [S].

- An issue has been addressed where during the mission "Gatherer of Light (II)" from the additional scenario "A Crystalline Prophecy," there are times when the mission will not correctly progress after the player checks the "???" near (G-6) in Qufim Island when holding the key item needed for the mission, even though the key item for the mission is used.

* Along with the correction of above 2 issues, both "Warding Door" and "???" involved are now present within the game. We apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused.

PEISTE LEATHER? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I spent over 2 hours soloing DC Peiste for a single Peiste Skin a month or two ago. I needed a second one, but for some reason there was one on the AH (!?) and TGM was available to buy it and send it to me.

This now worthless item is about to get a little bit expensive.

HOLY CRAP! From 3k to 60k! I went out with ls mates and farmed some up on update day. There were a bunch of people out there but we ended up getting 5 skins in about 3 hours. Yes we had TH4.

I know but come on, less than a day... and of course I know people who are well past that part (I would have been too if it hadn't took 5 god damn hours to get a full set of items for the 1st mission for each of our party memebrs.)

OMG the ppl camping Davoi/Oztroja was disgusting. In mountains ppl were actually using their chocobo whistle charges just to claim Yagudo.


And now apparently you have to climb Delfkutt while under a 30 cap collecting key items along the way to the top for a boss fight and if you lose you gotta do it all over again...


Well, at least the new San d'Oria quests were cool (OMG the final CS was epic >_>) but over all, seems like we got shit after months of waiting. The augments from FoV are so damned retarded I'm not even going near them. My PLD buddy traded a Verve Ring +1 only to get it back with STR & VIT -1 and AGI +1... lovely.

My my, arent we a negative nancy? Do you ever NOT complain about things? I managed to get all my seedspalls and key items from gobs (and fight the gobs) over the course of a day? Maybe you're just not tryin hard enough?

Gotta agree that the augments are shitty, but are they REALLY that random?

On ffxiclopedia, there is a tally being kept on items traded and the longest list seems to be connected to Gudanna the level 50 mob. About halfway through the list they started keeping track of Moon Phase, time, and day. The Puissance ring with +2 DEX is pretty epic imo.

Meanwhile, my Auspice sold for 20k. I think I'll have to lower Cura a bit, as the NPC price is lower than I thought it was.
