    "A Crystalline Prophecy" Site Updated and Advance Order Date Announced! (03/16/2009)

    The first installment of three new add-on scenarios, entitled "A Crystalline Prophecy – Ode of Life Bestowing" will be available for advance purchase through PlayOnline starting from March 23, 2009.
    (*Players purchasing the scenario will receive access to the in-game content upon the release of the next FINAL FANTASY XI version update, scheduled for early April.)

    In honor of this occasion, the official site for "A Crystalline Prophecy" has been updated with the latest news. Head on over to read all the exciting details!
    You also won't want to miss the new promotional trailer, scheduled for release in the coming days, so keep watching this space!

              I kind of want the Nuevo Coselete, but knowing S-E, they're going to make it WAR/PLD/DRK/BST/maybeDRG/ofcourseBLU only. I certainly wouldn't mind getting the Royal Redingote by any means, despite knowing it is inevitably going to be the "magey" piece . . .

              I like the fact they are bringing the San d'Orian civil war and "Eastern San d'Oria" in to this. Good to know more about my nation's history.

                    Simple thought?!

                    I hope they allow for true customization finally, includeing and not limited to color customization. Kinda getting old seeing the same Armor design and color. and that comment addresses all aspects of "Customization."

                      I doubt the plate will be for Blu, they're probably going to go with the same layout as the Nyzul sets, Askar, Denali and Goliard.

                      Seeing as the colors of each armor are tied directly with the very meaning and relevance behind each piece, I doubt we can change it.

                        The armor customization is intriguing but I'm still going to wait a bit before buying this one.

                            It'll be interesting to see if one of the customize pieces is what job can wear it.

                            Gonna wait and see how this unfolds before buying, I'm still in the developing my character stage.

                              You sound like a little spoiled and jaded kid.

                              The update is looking pretty hefty and there's new mission content to go on top of that. They probably figured it was best to set it up so they didn't have to take the servers down twice for two seperate updates. You would have bitched about them taking the servers down twice, so be grateful you can piggyback this new content on the next content update.

                              All that aside, this mini-expansion is looking interesting now. I like the customizeable armor type, I'm hoping BST can wear that heavy armor. I doubt the mage body would be worth much to my SCH. Light/Dark Arts effects are just too nice for their own good.
