Hopefully you don't mean using the Delivery Box as extra storage. I'd have been banned about 20x XD.

There was a method to dupe items using the Dbox as you would put it in to send something, force D/C or some such and comeback and you'd be able to get two of them item you tried to send. It was never well known because SE...surprise surprise...banned everyone who made use of it.

But precedent don't mean squat to people who are busy QQing

Never heard about those either. I usually just used my gameshark and the "Catch any pokemon" codes. I remember this friend of mine found out the infinite rare candy code and started mass growing pokemon for our group. We then used to battle each other with our level 100s when we were bored. I remember I had a hacked game that had pokemon with reversed types (Charizard Water Type Blastoise Fire Type etc.) and level 255 pokemon. I did that just for lol's.

Crazy, not only did they lose the duped items, they also lost their characters as well.

Off topic but....

Have you noticed an increase in people saying "help my friend he's in the military" or people saying they are in the military to elicit sympathy from people? I'm not saying everyone is lying but COME ON there have been an assload of people in game that I've run into with these type of comments. I think half the people that play FFXI are in the military!

The irony is, out of everyone here I was probably most affected by it. I lost ~10 good friends and my ls and einherjar ls are suffering... but all I can really say is it would have all been fine if the dumbasses hadn't cheated in the first place.
