Yes, it's like an extra place to store your crap. You can keep sending and returning to yourself in this big loop.

How though, they're are assuming the buyer is going to send to them selves... SE doesn't have access to gilsellers websites customer lists... unless im wrong. Even if they have access to said customer lists, say you used a different bank/credit card to order gil.

I think he means that he would buy the gil, but have it sent to the other character directly. So his character is never involved.

And yes, they do have a Return to Sender option. Before 2006, people would probably take the gil and keep it, but especially now that SE is cracking down on RMT hard, anyone with half a brain would return it, and eliminate the chance of being banned and thus losing much more then a couple million gil you may have sent them. When you hit return to sender, the gil never enters your inventory, and goes directly back to the RMT companies. In addition, they could file a GM call and say they received gil from a suspected RMT character(but didn't take it), eliminating every single ounce of potential guilt.

Someone actually did this to me once. It's not every day you get some RMT /telling you he has lots of gil for you, I think he was more confused than I was! I declined it obviously, although it was tempting to take it and just say to the person "well you wasted your real money to make ME look stupid huh?" but it wasn't worth it XD

I later found out who it was, apparently their plan was for me to accept it and they made a GM call. I never heard from a GM, I'm guessing they checked my log and realised I didn't take it or something.

The whole point of the RMT-PWNER V1.337 is to track any and all transactions from a suspected RMT. So even if you made a hundred mules and laundered the money through countless accounts, they'd all get banned following the money trail. Which means it's even more dangerous then ever to buy gil.

And, it also looks like the program bans the buyers as well as the sellers. I sure hope they set it up right, so they don't get normal people, too...

I guess this is a "Subtle hint" from SE to stop buying!
Good thing I'm too poor to be mistaken for RMT by a program that looks at how much gil you have! THUMBS UP FOR POVERTY!!

Oh, and return to sender the gil? I thought they nerfed it, so RMT can't mail it to you anymore?

You can only send gil to one character at a time, and it can't be more than 1 million gil.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.
