I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get multiple caskets with AOE. It may be 10% overall, but it's just as random as anything else.

There were several times last night where I got two caskets in a row. When I first started, they were dropping far more often than 1/10. I left and came back, and it was a good hour before another dropped.

Results were pretty much the same. Lots of Hi-Potions +1/2, Hi-Ethers, Antidotes, etc. in the temp caskets. A couple weaker potions and ethers, and one sprig of Chamomile in the brown caskets I got.

If only I'd realized you could take all the items instead of just one sooner than I did. >.>

Nope. I sold my Potion +1 and Ether +1 from the non-temp caskets. I doubt you'd be able to sell the temp items to outpost vendors, but I wasn't in an area where I could try.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

The delay of Moblin Maze Mongers has me bummed, as that's the one update feature I was most eager to try. Ah well, they can only improve it, right? RIGHT?

The nerf of NPC sales prices is also depressing, but then my disposition improves when I think that the AH prices for certain items may not have changed--I can just sell them there, even if at a slower pace.

When I've raised a satisfactory amount of capital, I'll enjoy the the Casket and FoV features on my SAM and MNK. Should be fun.

But damn it, I really wanted to fiddle with the mazes!

Just tried the FoV with my 17 Dnc and NPC to speed up kills. Blitzed through 8 Akbabas for about 70 exp/kill with exp band and NPC out, so roughly cancels, + 450 exp for completing the FoV thingy, so that's 1010 exp for a few minutes of work.

        Really not bad. Low level leveling just got alot easier. No caskets dropped though ; ;

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.

I wonder if there's anything that prevents me from following people around and stealing their caskets.

On a more srs note, anybody find anything good from a casket? Any armor at all?

I like the treasure caskets. The potions and ethers given to you in the odd drop do wonders to cut down on downtime when soloing or farming. I was even in a low level party where the PLD got some ethers out of an unlocked crate so we didn't have to rest for a good while after.

Haven't tried FoV yet. Might try it on my BLU when it dings 18. I forgot that Cardians aggro'd magic so learning Bludgeon went badly.

I can just see a RMT stalking a party around invisible until one drops and then he takes off invisible to run for the casket and fails to grab it since he isn't in the party.

Wow, them moving the Sandy OP guy IS annoying...

I just had to run all the way to where he used to be, grab signet, etc, then run ALLLL the way back to just outside the mog house, just to warp somewhere.

Doing this every day, 4+ times a day is going to be a headache. They should add a new T.K., W.W. or I.M. next to the op guy's new pos and fix this

I can't speak for others, but from my point of view, this update had much more bad than good.

^update was overall good but yeah why did they move those? if you were coming from whitegate it was nice to spawn right in front of them and if you needed signet it was still very close
did people complain a lot or did they just change that for whatever reason? omfgihavetowalk2minutesomgomgomg

as far as the bastok NPC goes it was in a horrible place to begin with, it's much more convenient where it is now. Being in the metalworks before meant you had to run out to the markets' gates to get signet, then into the metal works to warp.

I find the Teleport guy that moved from metalworks to bastok mines a smart move!

Even so, you know there are going to be those people who just NEED a R3 during a wipe because they didn't bother with any sort of buffer ... I had somebody decline a R2 in exactly those circumstances, too. After that, well, I couldn't be bothered to raise them at all...

Oh, and as for the distance between the OP warp and signet now, there's always the option to OP warp to Ronfaure/Gustaberg/Sarutabaruta unless another city is being evil and well-coordinated...

overall a decent update imo. Was kinda hoping for AN body piece, they gotta release that n make the set storable sooner or later (sooner I hope) and maybe even a +chr cape the bst could wear would be good...someday >.>

They really should have moved the signet guy for San d'Oria as well. Then it would be just fine.

Still royally pissed that all we got was about 5 or 6 new missions. I'd also like to know what SE's definition of a Climax is, because Mission 14 was more like rising action.

The march on Xarcabard/battle with the Shadow Lord, now *that* is a Climax.

Tell those people "tough shit." Anyone who declines an R2 or R1 gets to home point. They can get a god damn buffer next time.

It depends on the circumstances. A wipe is a lot different than someone eating an EES while everyone else is up. I'll toss out R3s if the fight is still going ok but if we wipe I usually just stagger R1s and R2s. With so much to do in the game and so many obligations, I don't fault someone for not having a buffer. However, if they don't want an R1 there are gorgets and hairpins they should invest in.
