That's like arguing that every player has access to infinite gil by simply repeating the same 100 gil reward quest over and over.

I wouldn't recommend doing that. But if anybody wants to do that quest 5 million times then more power to them. What I was really saying was there wasn't really a shortage of chests, but there is a shortage of chest spawns. IMO it'd be cool if they had set spawn locations for AF chests and had separate spawns for treasure chests.

Offtopic, but I'm pretty sure that SE has ALWAYS made it possible to fully level up in non-expansion areas; KRT for 70+ for example. Not that they're exactly trying to make a bunch of expansion-less camps.

Ah, I forgot KRT. The highest level parts of it were added in a post-RoZ update IIRC, but it's still technically a non-expansion zone and might be subject to the treasure casket system.

Kuftal, Boyahda, Gustav, Onzozo, sky, Teriggan, VoS, Rancor, moongate, DA though - all RoZ zones.

It *was* possible to fully level up in non-expansion areas before RoZ - because "fully level up" meant 60, which you could get in, e.g., beastman castles. Genkai 3, 4, and 5 were all added during RoZ (although you don't actually need it to get those quests, like you do to get the rank 6+ missions which were also added about the same time).

We'll probably know the time of the update fairly soon, all we know is "in December" but probably soon after fanfest, I'd imagine.

The French version of one of the update announcements said the update would be sometime in the first ten days or so* of December. So I'd say sometime next week.

*The word used isn't exactly ten; it means "about ten."

Has anyone seen any treasure drops or is implimented yet? I just log on last night for the first time in 2 weeks.

I have to admit, I am excited because I just started leveling BST recently (Level 24 presently). I should see a few caskets during my climb to level 75

It's not implemented yet. Update's coming on Monday.
