    after about page 3 I noticed some people cant read.....

    DNC lv70 with a dagger skill of a level 60 because of LS system....

    easy party with some 60s and skill up from there or join a skill up PT

    it said that you cant gain skill past your capped level cap, it never said that you would not gain skill period (like in CB)

      At lvl 30 turns into:

      INT/MND/CHR +0 STR/DEX/VIT/AGI -7 Def +12 hMP +0
      The hMP is understandable, they falls under the same category as things like haste or evasion that gets wiped completely. But why are the INT/MND/CHR stats wiped out? And why aren't negative attributes scaled in the same way positive ones are?

      I haven't tested any of these myself yet so I'm just going by what people have posted here.

        "LS" is already a very commonly used acronym for LinkShell. So please Please PLEASE don't use it as an acronym for Level Sync.

                First, an apology to Trip: it appears I had my browser open for too long w/out refreshing. By the time I made my post, I was beating a dead horse. Sorry.

                Ok, about the disagreements towards what I said earlier:

                I said i'm fine with giving up after 2 hours 'cuz we're not doing it right. People have responded that it's too much effort to farm these pop items. So consider:

                We already farm JoL pops and just lol as we die when AV pops. We already do all the ZNMs multiple times. When tier 4s do drop items towards PW, most LSs probably lot to a single person to hold for PW anyway. My point? Whether or not we kill PW/AV, we already have incentive to climb the pop item ladder. Spend 2 hours failing or spend 18 hours failing. What reason do you have to complain about the upgrade?

                  Actually I've seen a few ls'es that stopped doing ZNMs altogether until PW gets figured out. It would be different if the T4s dropped 100% like sea gods do, but it's closer to 10%. I think the ZNM system is a lot like the early sea god system, it just has bigger loot pools along the way and more levels.

                  Don't get me wrong, I'd like to take it on and make the effort, but I won't begrudge the ones that don't feel it's worth the time yet.

                  Above all else, I think it would have been better if SE had actually given more information on what the proper strategy was instead of telling us we were doing it wrong and imposing a time limit.

                    More people can finish a 100 yard dash then a 24 mile marathon. They don't have to be in first place, but they can still finish the shorter race. Even if they ran at the same speed for both events, one is easier to finish then the other. Why?

                    Scaled with respect to it's actual level? Last night I joined a lvl 54 capped party as Thf. I tried some of my high lvl gear and was pretty much put off. My Dragon harness, a lvl 72 item with 6/6 Dex/Agi gave 1/1 each. That's less then 20 lvls below it's cap and the thing was damn near worthless. My Akinji Peti, a lvl 55 item that gives 6/6 Acc/Att gave me 2 attack and I can only assume 2 acc. One lvl under cap and it takes away 66% of the item's benefit. I will admit though, the Exp per kill was nice...but then again it was Birds and they suck anyway.

                    If it scaled with respect to level, I should get a bit more then 33% of a bonus from an item 1 level under cap.

                    Before, when it was 18+ hours, at least people had a chance to win without some unknown super magic trick that can instantly nerf these THREE(since JoL is in the mix too) mobs. On top of that, these things were seen as the unholy bitches that they were and not just another mob. There are still people who can't beat *Kirin* in under 2 hours using all the known tricks and methods. And now JoL/AV and PW are supposed to be beaten in less time then that?

                    I can understand the imposed time limit, SE got some bad publicity due to some stupid players and overreacted...but 2 hours is far too short a limit for these guys. Especially for all the work that has to be done just to get to them.

                      All I have to say is, wait and see. This could be something they are going to fix because its not supposed to be that way. Two hours from the time AV pops is more reasonable but not from when JOL pops. That just doesn't make any sense. (I still think 2 hours to depop is too short.)

                          It seemed that the first time, when we took longer to kill JoL, AV was a lot more manageable. Still, there wasn't a lot of time for us to play around with things, and Meteor wiped not only the ally, but everyone in the vicinity who was watching.

                          It was hilarious.

                            But that's the thing, JoL used to be one of the strongest things in game too. It shouldn't be a 15 minute fight. It removes what was once special about AV and PW and reduces them to just-another-NM. It's why Kirin is a joke now, because what once was an epic day long fight eventually boiled down to something that gets speed-farmed by half the endgame population.

                                True, but how the hell else are we supposed to figure out AV if we have to actually slowly kill JoL and then end up with less than an hour for AV?

                                Hell, some LSes can't even kill JoL in two hours. Not that they're going to fart around with AV but still. Does JoL depop if you don't kill it by the two hour mark? That will really suck for a lot of linkshells.

                                The first JoL was like 40 minutes because we were waiting on some job changes. The second on was quick. Like, 15-20 or so.

                                Keep thinking they are tied together, but I'm not sure how. But something about the JoL affects AV, and that's something a lot of people didn't believe until now. Hell, I wouldn't have either except I witnessed it firsthand and have the xp loss to prove it. :D
