There is a 30 second delay.....a lot can happen in 30 seconds dear. LOL

As far as this goes, yes its great and I'm happy. I will use this and I know my husband and son will too. There are often times they wish we could party when we are leveling other jobs but our levels don't permit it. On the downside, I don't think this will be a huge deal to most people. At first you'll see people trying it out and laughing about how cool it is and then the novelty will wear off. The people that will use this will be ones that have friends/family in game or are in a nice ls that helps out their members. Other than that a good chunk of the elitests won't even bother with it.

Kinda don't get this. Explain this guys:

"This means that players will now be able to participate in various battlefields, Assault missions, and Ballista, and also to adventure in level-capped areas such as Riverne without the hassle of having to switch equipment!"

"* Level Sync cannot be used in areas or events where a separate level restriction already applies."

This means to me that Level Sync can't be used in level restricted areas BUT........it can.....

Depends on how the 30 second thing applies, can you not REMOVE your sync immediatly or just have to wait 30 seconds to re-sync? It's still enough for someone to run away for 30 seconds while waiting for re-sync then turn around and WAAAAAAAAH... I just had a pac-man flashback.

Also, if no one answered your other question (i'm not reading all that crap yo (some mod i am))...

Seems like you cant ADJUST your level in level capped areas, and why would you want to do that anyway? However from the promyvion picture... seems like equipment will still re-scale to fit your level.

Well think about it, ever done Garrison? I've tried curing people who were doing Garrison, but the game won't let me. (Would be an easy way to cheat.) SE very easily COULD implement the same "You do not meet the level cap requirements to perform that action" thing with this level sync, which would effectively do away with outside healing entirely.

No more shitty dual-boxers! Rejoice! LOL.

Or party leaders who bring their own PL could simply refuse to allow level sync for their party.

This simply adds flexibility to the game by giving players a new option. It doesn't eliminate any of the old options.

:D This was totally out of nowhere on SE's part, Just makes the game SO much better imo.

While this whole system was rather unexpected, I think SE hinted at this feature in particular in a recent interview. The interviewer commented that it's hard for players in the middle levels to find parties, and SE's response was that they were working on a solution for that. I thought maybe they were going to expand the /search function's capabilities. I never thought they were talking about something quite like this.

Now I dont have to solo blm at 73-75 I can just group up with my husband and eventually lvl it that way lol.

Or you could join a manaburn and nuke puddings. My BLM duo partner and I were just nuking Princes for about 4k exp/hour when an LS Mate told us that his manaburn party had two openings. It was BLMx5 + COR, and the BLMs ranged anywhere between 73 to 75, and only one of the BLMs was a 75 with really good gear and merits. We were doing around 8k exp/hour. Best of all, you can take advantage of that now, instead of waiting a month for SE to add a new feature.

From the French version:

l’annulation de la synchronisation nécessite 30 secondes.

Which means "The cancellation of synchronization requires 30 seconds." So I'm guessing it's 30 seconds between canceling it and your real level kicking in.

Waiting on a German friend to tell me what that text for that portion says about it.

Edit: The German, according to him, says: "There is a 30 second long waiting time for the cancellation/removal of the level-adaption."

Well, it actually sounds nice, but all this means for my COR is that now I actually will have to go /anon now that anyone at any level can pester me to level with them instead of just the 75s.

/anon proves to be a problem when lfmp, or lfp in general. My advice just say no? or ignore ppl. Why is that so hard for all of you "OMG I HAVE TO GO ANON NOW!! B/C I'M WHM,BRD,COR etc."

Well some people don't like being /anon. Myself, I'll put my search comment up for a mission I'm trying to finish (Hai2u Windy 8-1) but fucking get invites to xp instead. It's annoying.

Also, just being WHM75 with a name that starts with A is apparently asking to be bothered, even when I'm doing shit like, I don't know, DYNAMIS! And if my ls didn't have a rule against being /anon in Dynamis, I would be /anon. If I'm on WHM for any length of time without /anon, I get bothered damn near constantly. Sometimes I don't want my name to be blue. Sometimes you just don't feel like going /anon. I shouldn't have to just because people won't leave me the fuck alone.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of /blisting people, really, but with my /tell chime on it gets pretty annoying to be constantly barraged with requests for R3.

pssst... I think it still works

--As of 6/22/08 does work toward Beastmaster pets. While the effect will not display nor will it go into the combat log, close watch of pet health bar will show it gaining back with hits. Tested on lv10 BST w/ Mandragora pet.

Who knows.
Haven't tested it myself.

I HATE being /anon. Of course, its for an entirely different reason. I forget I'm anon. LOL I'll seek and seek and seek and seek and finally someone will msg me and say "you know you're anon right?" Then I'm embarassed and look like a nub, so I just say {No, thanks.} to anon. Now if they put in a feature where if you tried to seek and were anon it would tell you, then I might use it more often. LOL

Speaking of whm in Dynamis, I once had a screenshot of a very funny conversation with someone while I was in Dynamis. They messaged me and wanted to pay me to powerlevel them. I proceeded to tell them I was in Dynamis but that did not deter them one bit! LOL I have to say in the end I was slightly tempted by the amount of gilz that were offered.
