How is the TP return on Footwork broken? The TP gained from normal attacks with it up does not balance out against normal attacks at all. If they adjust it they'll destroy what little use the JA has.

[Important Update Details]
Following addition and adjustments were made:

- New advanced official races have been added to Chocobo Racing in Chocobo Circuit.

- Corrections were made to the strength of Beastman Confederate forces depending on the status of Campaign battles.

- Increased the minimum rewards that can be received through Campaign Ops.

The following issues have also been addressed:
- "Shinai" and "Ibushi Shinai," which can be obtained from NPC "Ajahkeem" in Ru'Lude Gardens in exchange of fellow points, were displayed reversed on the selection menu.

- Battle effect of NM Dark Ixion's special attack "Rampant Stance" was incorrect.

- Monsters of the Beastman Confederate forces would consider a Beastmaster's pet as a target even when the pet was not engaged in battle.

- The additional effect of following equipment was listed as "Enhances 'Kick Attacks' effects" instead of "Kick Attacks+":

* Correction to the item description will be made in the near future.

- Recast of magic spells and the buildup of TP were incorrect while the Monk job ability "Footwork" was in effect.

- Within the guild contract quests, key items might not have appeared on the list of rewards.

- The Graphic for Qutrubs-type monsters were displayed incorrectly in the Pit.

- The name of monster that is mentioned in the conversation with NPC Sanraku in Aht Urhgan Whitegate was incorrect. [US only]

- Other minor issues.

How is the TP return on Footwork broken?

Recast of magic spells and the buildup of TP were incorrect while the Monk job ability "Footwork" was in effect.

Well, seems SE thought something was wrong, so does it matter? They nerfed high TP returns for WS in the past and here they fixed it again.

I wonder if other minor issues entails the progression of Kings and other such hnm's returning to more friendly EU/NA timers. Perhaps someone accidently hit the JP button again >.>

Clarifications based off of initial reports:

-TP return on Footwork is the same on melee attacks. Asuran Fists now returns 33% TP, DK returns 26/27% TP.

-Utsusemi's recast is now normal with Footwork and Haste gear and Haste now effect the attack speed of Footwork/Spell recast while under Footwork

-The New "Enhances Kick attack" shoes now increase the damage of Kick attacks, they originally increased the frequency.

-Beastmen armies appear to be (atm) of the same strength as before the patch

-The base exp for 1 star for Campaign Ops is now the same as before the June patch. Additional Stars increase exp

So wait, does that mean a 1 star op now gives as much exp/AN as a three star op gave two days ago? That seems broken in the opposite way. I'll happily take it but @.@a really?

Well, when you consider that almost EVERY op was single star this may be the right idea. Perhaps now they default at 1 star instead of 3, and if they are left undone the stars increase?

They did that anyway. At least, the star value did decrease as we did them. More fluidly than I would have thought too. When we were spamming Pit Spider the other day, each run gave 1-2 exp less than the last.

Anyway, I think this accomplishes the same thing as the previous system without making the players feel hosed, which I definately did. Kudos to SE of perhaps their first fast and elegant fix. XD

DAMN!!! Well there goes my 25% Kick Rate build...


/sigh @ Footwork. Well at least Haste works on it now. If SE would just make Hundred Fists work too then we'll be set (though I don't see it happening)
