Yet more fail in this update. God it all looked so glorious at first, but it doesn't take long to find holes.
Seriously what the hell, I thought they wanted to make WAR a stronger tank, so WTF is this doing at such a high level? How about 38-40 to help out sooner?
It doesn't have to be subable, but there's no reason for an ability designed to help war tank to be so damned high.
I'm still looking at 3+ hours on my download, so can anyone who uses SE's windowed mode fill me in on the changes to it? Can I put my gamma settings back to normal or is it still off? Gawd, I can't wait to not be blinded by the dunes (and half of the other zones) again, if so. ^^
Nibblonian: "You are the last hope of the universe."
Fry: "So I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?"
Nibblonian: "Yes, except the Dave Matthews Band doesn't rock."'
So nice of SE to not mention three pieces of each WotG AF set were made from crafted items. It wasn't a good idea the first time they did it, I'm amazed they'd do something so incredibly stupid a second time in a row with AFs.
I'm liking a lot of this... except Sublimation's incompatibility with Refresh -- and not with Ballad or Evoker's. That's got me pissed. What were they thinking? If they're going to make it incompatible with Refresh, at least make it so Ballad and Evoker's don't work either so we have parity. Even though I'd rather still be able to Refresh people instead. Rrgh... This had better be a bug. -- Pteryx
Yeah... given the subbability of Sublimation, allowing RDM/SCH to stack it with refresh would be pretty sick. It'll probably be powerful enough as it is.
As for coffers... have you *been* in the new beastman strongholds? The entrance has mobs that are T to a level 75, and they get stronger as you go farther in. *And* there are some true sight mobs. Coffers would be highly challenging for a level 75; for a level 52 they'd be suicidal. (At least the scholars would have reraise. 1.)
Anyway, I think the ingredients this time around aren't crafted. Some are picked up from ???s and others appear to be raw drops. So it won't be a repeat of the situation with imperial silk.
There's a male mithra NPC in the dats.
Yes, and I've seen him...
Where to find the male mithra
He appears in a cutscene for the quest "Knot Quite There", which is the new continuation of the past Windurst pseudo-missions. Examine the door to the Acolyte Hostel (Ajido-Marujido's room) after completing The Tigress Strikes.
I haven't solved that quest yet (see my thread in the quests forum), but according to dat mining there seems to be a followup; dunno if he'll appear in that too.
I can't wait to get home and see if the update actually worked. I tried last night to download it but kept getting the POL 116 error. So I waited till this morning and it updated right away in under 5 minutes. I was expecting it to be a dreadfully long download. I guess we will see...5:00pm can't come fast enough.
I'm glad I was home all day yesterday, I downloaded it as soon as the game allowed me to, and on my laptop, I was in game (unfortunately on my mule!) as soon as the server went back up. I had to wait about 15 more minutes for my PC.
