2 hour update for me too, I'm glad my HDD has nothing on it but FFXI lol so I dont run into that "no room" problem so has anyone seen the stats SCH af?

I have a 27 gig hd on my laptop and i had to delete 2 movies to fit the update and have breathing room for Naruto and bleach this week

First point to be made: not Convert. Sole reason: tell me any two jobs which share the same Job Ability. (I know they share Traits, but my point is with the Abilities.) But, maybe they could get something similar. Maybe some higher-level strategems that substitute HP for MP on a spell (for Light Arts, give it a Paladin-like honor of sacrifice sort of name; for Dark Arts, make it a Dark Knight-like ritual of consumption sort of deal), but those alone won't be good enough. Maybe since their more studious and precise, give them an ability which lets them cut their current HP in half to earn that amount in MP, and give it a cool-sounding Latin name like Modus Vivendi (Method of Life).

Does no one see the 3/3 charges on the new band? that means double charges every 3 days instead of 7! I always couldn't wait for my last charge on an empress.

I'm still wondering if I should /toss my empress band and use emperor band. But there is one important thing we're missing here. After the update, what is going to get f'ed up since it's a known fact that after every update, something screws up and needs to be fixed a couple weeks later.

Also, let's not forget the rule (at least I think it's a rule) of only 1 new band/recharge per conquest tally.

Can't you only recharge and/or purchase once per conquest tally? Or am I mistaken?

yeah but thats like 6 days of leveling, but i guess it could be bad if you charge it at the beginning of a week =(

If you only EXP a few times a week, the Emperor Band will be fine. Those who EXP more frequently may prefer Empress.

Tested Elemental Siphon as level 75 smn, used on an air spirit during thunderday got back 248 MP. Wanted to test on thunder spirit but I apparently didn't have the spell yet. Will have to test after purchasing pact scroll. 5 minute recast slowing down testing. Will check to see if skill, and stats like int or mnd are a factor.
