At the following time, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches. Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

* The World Transfer Service will be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance. Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign will also become unavailable once the maintenance begins. Please wait until after the maintenance is completed before attempting to use these services.

The EU players aren't responsible for the poor marketing decisions S-E have chosen. There are more European online gamers than there are North American and Japanese combined.

Not playing FFXI there aren't, and those are the only ones that matter when SE is scheduling down time.

It just gets a tad annoying when you see it three days in a row, and three Mondays in a row. It makes it bloody hard to schedule anything. I'm sure if it was every single week in your time zone, you would be complaining too.

If SE had bothered to advertise it in the EU properly, they would have gotten more players. Like Grizzlebeard says, we have more online gamer than anywhere else.

TBH I dont think they advertised in the USA either. Admittingly I dont see many commercials or anything for other MMOs but I see a lot less stuff online about FFXI..

Not as many EU people play FFXI. Period. If you want to change this, go buy some starter disks or collections and pass them out to your friends, and encourage the ones that like it to do the same.
