"Wings of the Goddess" Version Update (Nov. 13)
On Nov. 20, 2007, the FINAL FANTASY XI: Wings of the Goddess expansion disc will be shipped.

Due to the number of new features included in this expansion, an update of the game will be required for all players (even those who have not installed the expansion). The preparatory version update for the FINAL FANTASY XI: Wings of the Goddess expansion disc will be performed on the following date.

FINAL FANTASY XI gameplay will not be interrupted during this update as there will be no server maintenance conducted at this time.

Also, additional preparatory server maintenance is scheduled to be performed on Nov. 19, 2007. Details on this maintenance will be announced in the "Information" section.

The new features for FINAL FANTASY XI: Wings of the Goddess expansion will become available sometime on Nov. 21, 2007.

* This update consists of a version upgrade of the client program. When you press the play button after the time stated below, the version upgrade will begin automatically. Please follow the instructions on the screen.

Authentication System (DNAS) Server Maintenance (Nov. 13)

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) announced the DNAS Server will be conducting authentication system (DNAS) maintenance at the date and time listed below.

As a result, installation, first-time login, and version upgrades of the PlayOnline viewer or PlayOnline contents will not be possible during the maintenance operation period.

If you are already logged in to the PlayOnline or any of the PlayOnline contents, you should be able to use them as normal during the maintenance. However, please be aware that if you log out during the maintenance, you will be unable to log in again until the maintenance is over.

Mine comes in on the 21st. The content was supposed to go live on the 22nd originally though, which means I now have to book off 1 more day @_ @

Nov 22 8:00am JST is Nov 21 6:00pm EST, which IIRC is about the same times ToAU went live.

Cool! I just booked off the 21~25 anyway (various reasons, not just WotG heh) so I'm all set.

I can head on over to EB 1st thing in the morning, come home and install the game and wait for maintenance to finish.

I work the night of the 21st, but I have the 22nd off, so I'll be up all night eating leftovers and using the guides that people will make on the 21st to unlock my jobs quicker and therefor have more time to play with them. I win.
