        Actually, I just thought of something that irritates me about the new Scholar job.

        Do you guys have ANY idea how much time and money was put into getting my weaving glasses so that I could have that sexy librarian look? And now a job comes alone and they get the glasses with their schoolgirl AF set?!?!?!

              Psh, that's nothing. Apparently this weeks 'pre-expantion' event reward is a pair of Red sunglasses. I worked hard to get my Orange ones and now SE is just gonna give away a pair of red ones to anyone who takes 10 minutes out of their grind to do some simple fetch quests. =(

              Mind you I'm being half facetious right now in that I couldn't care less about the red glasses. >.>

                  Maybe you haven't noticed, but there's far more melee jobs than mage jobs, and the DD concept is what's truly recycled in this game. Scholar is clearly different from RDM from the way it uses its abilities and what it can DO with those abilities.

                        I've actually been highly disappointed by the lack of new melee DDs so far over the past two expansions. I like my simple, straight up, offensive jobs with big weapons and heavy armor. As it stands, that only leaves me with War, Sam, Drk and Drg...but I don't like Drg* so that only leaves 3! D=

                        I'm really hoping for either Viking or a Gaxe toting Geo, I'd lvl those jobs, even if they were tanks.

                        (*note: My dislike of Drg doesn't mean I think the class is weak or would not pt with them, I just dislike using spears and pets. The class itself is great in my book )

                            I don't think so, being able to change both day and weather is kind of excessive?

                            I can't wait to see melees arguing with mages over who should get the weather effect. "can i has tornadoz for tachijinpu?"

                            Unless this ability is actually on a low enough recast. Weather cycle anyone?

                            EDIT: Also, kind of interesting how this job can actually debuff particular party members by picking a bad weather on purpose.

                                Weather radically changes nukes and cures, I dont think it affects the WSs that much.. never noticed since the numbers are allways so random
