At the following time, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches. Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

* The World Transfer Service will be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance. Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign will also become unavailable once the maintenance begins. Please wait until after the maintenance is completed before attempting to use these services.

Maint will always be in EU primetime - that I accept. This is what the third maint to fix that damn npc in Sandy. GET IT RIGHT SE - I'M PISSED NOW.

Was supposed to be running ToAU missions tonight - we are two runs off completing them (was going to be 35 today).

People always seem to not understand.... this is programming, not a color drawing of a house.....

Things go wrong, things don't work right. They will get fixed, but sometimes it takes time, or multiple tries.

Personally I wish they'd fix the bug with the party/alliance status bar. Everytime someone leaves the group, it either moves them to another party or makes people already in the alliance disappear.

People don't seem to understand there are such things as test servers where most competent developers actually test their changes before implementing them on the live servers thereby ensuring as little downtime as possible while keeping their faces egg-free.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the actual bug with the NPC was? I know they said there was some sort of exploit, but that's all I heard about it...

I think they're talking about Varchet, who had to be replaced with an Oops Moogle the previous update.
