That shit was classic!
And yeah, the typhoon is the main reason, as just about everything is getting ready for it. As a matter of fact, our base is currently under TCCOR 3 (Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness), and it could get upgraded to 2 soon (at that point, we're going into basically what equates to combat readiness procedures). Since I'm my squadron's Safety Manager, I've had to run around making sure everyone's good to go.
Hopefully this all blows over, but I don't mind keeping the 2-hander nerf at bay. lol

As amusing as that'd be, no, it's more about bunkering down and riding out the storm. If it gets severe enough, we'll also be evacuating all non-mission essential personnel (mainly civilians), as well as launching all aircraft to get them out of here (most likely sending them to Kunsan or Osan in South Korea). It's more of a defensive posture, more than anything.
Also, we'll be cutting the power to non-mission essential buildings. This means no FFXI for me this weekend. Oh well, my flashlights and books are g2g.

Well its only a category 2 so it shouldn't be to bad. Although even weak typhoons can cause a lot of damage.Comment
