      What I said was pretty straight forward, and was simply disagreeing with the statement that a huge axe should cut you in half.

        Last time I used my WAR (and I was fairly decked out far as I was concerned: Berserker's Axe, Bomb Core, Amemit Mantle +1, Spiked Finger Gauntlets etc) I would be lucky to break 400 damage on Raging Rush even if all 3 hits connected (and I have 4 double attack merits and 4 crit) while rampage would go anywhere from 400-1200 (I have no idea why i could never get consistent numbers on that damn WS even with proper gear and food)

        Raging Rush most of the time would hit 2-3 times for me, 4 if I was lucky. Meanwhile, I would normally rampage for 6-8 (usually 8) hits. There is a huge discrepancy there, and I'm glad SE is finally doing something about it.


        And I know that Steel Cyclone is good for HNMs, but I want to use GAX in merits too ; ;

            How else do you justify any mob that can live through several swings from any bladed weapon?
            It's just a game, that's how I justify it.

                  So is it just going to be for lvl 55 +, what about the lower levels? will their be lower level grips to help?

                    Well it was more of a joke than anything else. :p Tho I did try to make a point about the damage numbers not adding up. Hit for hit, Raging Rush should be closer to Rampage in damage, but it's not. This is due to crit mods on ws and axe bonuses and all sorts of goodies. It's the crit mod on rampage tho that puts that ws on a level higher than Raging Rush. Any multihit ws with a crit modifier wins and wins hard.

                          It's not out side the realm of possibility that they are 50/55+ items, after all there is nothing like the elemental staves before 51. Since 51 is a turning point for many things in the game, adding something that could potentially be big at that level does make sense.

                            Like I mentioned earlier... I'm hoping this helps low level DRK WSs a lot.

                            "It's just a game" Isn't always the ideal answer for justification, btw. I don't fight with PBJs (yet), despite how much I've been spamming the request to S-E. The planet isn't mysteriously void of gravity, most intelligent creatures walk on 2 legs, and the San d'Orian knights don't fly in hover cars.

                            Point is, there's a rationale to these things. And I just happen to enjoy thinking about that rationality. And if you're going to say that dual axes is more precise to fight with, I'll say that a great axe at full swing has such significant reach and built up momentum as to make it very hard to avoid. See? You're already getting better at this "roleplaying" thing!
