I might be wrong, but what I think Aeni might have been referring to was that the economy in general used to be more inflated, so buying a Rare/Ex item for 50k or so was nothing to most players. But now that things are a lot cheaper, and gil a lot rarer, paying that much for what essentially amounts to a novelty item seems a bit harsh.

Maybe I'm wrong though?

The Moogles' test of courage will begin at 8:00 am on Friday, August 3 and will last until 1:00 am on Monday, August 20.

Event has started, has anyone figured it out? Both people in party get dumped in Arrapago Reef as lvl 1, with perma sneak and invis. But resting or sitting doesn't come up with any msg for hot and cold directions etc. You don't get anything you can trade to your partner at this stage. Ended up using the warp glyph to get back to Windy.

If this is like last time, both you can your partner will have to look for ??? in the Reef, without any extra in-game help. There should be some /shout when the event gets in gear, though.
