Re: PlayOnline Launches Expansion Pack Registration Code Sales! (07/23/2007)

You have extra Registration codes you need to get rid of?
    Actually, I do.

    Let's see...

I bought FFXI. POL, FFXI, ROTZ codes.

    I bought CoP. CoP code

SE Gave me two copies of CoP at fan fest. I have three CoP codes

I buy two copies of TAU, one for myself, one for a friend who needs a US reg code. I have two TAU codes.

I buy the collection to make reinstalling easier. I have two POL, FFXI, and ROTZ codes, four CoP codes, and three TAU codes.

Discounting the ones I've used, I still have two CoP codes and a TAU code sitting around.

Yeah, actually I have two sets of codes plus an extra expansion I think because of a Vana'diel collection, but the software on my PS2 is incomplete. Worse, my PS2 FFXI install discs were damaged, so I had to have a shellmate across the country ship me his discs so I could reinstall. >< Otherwise I'd have to buy another PS2 HDD which .... :p

last night, I dreamt I had two PS2s with HDDs, and I was trying to install linux on them.

Which is weird as hell, since PS2 Linux is basically impossible to find, and I've never once had a PS2 HDD (FFXI PC).

Nope Amazon.co.uk has The full pack of FFXI+3 expansions for £12.97 ($26.78) (yeah we have to pay nearly $7 more, welcome to rip off Britain) but when you compare even the price we have to pay with the starter disk + 3 expansion codes that comes to $38.96 its still cheaper to buy the pack, unless of course they are going to discontinue it?

So if I understand this correctly, all I need to put ToAU on my PS2 is the disc and then I can simply buy a code for it?

yes. If you've already got TAU reg codes, all you need is the disk. Reg codes work on any system, but not outside their region.

For example, an NA PS2 will work on an NA 360, but an NA PS2 won't work on a JP PS2.
