No event item is without it's use, even if only of marginal interest to some. I'm actually interested to see what this event will bring.

This looks like a separate event from the Sunbreeze Festival (I liked Summerfest better but oh well). It does say on the website that it's a "new" event after all.

Actually, it would be cool if we could buy some real estate in this game. We all live in huts now. It would be cool if we could purchase a house, and be able to bring friends in. I wouldn't mind checking out somebody's two story mogmansion....and take a dip in their tarucuzzi

We don't live in huts, we live in apartments. Think London with a Japanese population size.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a nice little log cabin out in the middle of Xarcarbard.

Speaking of the northlands... why in the world would Zvahl build an open-air castle way up north, where it snows a lot?

Lol, you guys are horrible, this should be fun, and I'm sorry this is really one of the greatest parts of the game. A chance to bring your friends together to do something that is fun in game w/o party assist, can't wait to be back! Hmmm anywho, wonder what this will be like? You know this sort of festival in Japan usually consists of writing a wish on a paper charm and tying to the tree, wonder how that will work out. The poems might be posted, that would be nice.
I miss my friends, and I hope that they still have the memories we shared. I know I sound all sentimental and what not, but moving on...ITEMS, perfectly useless items that make me look better! Thats the name of the game!

Summerfest has always been my favorite festival besides the Christmas Treant one (the original) so I am a bit disappointed that they won't have it this year.

Unless of course, they are still having it just at a later date, I can't remember when Summerfest normally starts.

But ya know, Summerfest has always been so fun and festive, I'll be betting that this will be too.

Meh, I'm mostly irked about no Summerfest because I got Adobe Audition and I was going to record the Summerfest music with it this year and I already got rid of my old somewhat crappy recording of the music -.-

First off, i'm sorry for digging this up.

But at it draws near, could someone tell me how events in general usually work?

Is it some level biased run-a-around?

A huge money sink?

A queue type 'wait to go into a certain place to play some sort of game' events?

And last question, does anyone have any information on this event at all? Or is it completely new?

Again I apologize(can it also be spelled apologise? o.O) for bringing this topic back up.

I'm going to look up the other events on ffxiclopedia too.

I'm going to be busy tomorrow but I might check it out before I go to sleep, I hope they still have the Summerbreeze Festival. Even though most people hate the music, I love it^^

I believe the Summerbreeze Festival was mid-July? I'm probably wrong.

Hope everyone has a good time with the event! I know I will. =)
