        I'm done with CoP, but I kind of like this, particularly as I have a lot of friends that haven't done it yet, so now I can help them out and get XP for the BC-style fights. Hopefully they'll make it so CCB Polymer Pumps aren't rare anymore, which should help with the Airship battle a bit.

          ok well i think ill be geting all my mules to sea. lvl 1 thf no sub job!... i am very sad to see this, some of it was very good and i think needed to be done, such as the rare/EQ items. i have so many items i held onto that i cant use because no one ever wants to do CoP stuff. i got sea like a year back now(i think) and it was fun.

          one last this, all the updates seem to be makeing things well not hard anymore. i hope WoTG is very hard and not like ToAU stuff. i am to lazy to do ToAU stuff because there is crap. why the hell should i? they are not fun they are fast and in the end there is almost no items/areas that come from doing them. the story dont look all that good too.

            LMAO who the hell is complaining nowadays that its too hard?? Those people seriously need to have attempted these missions when they first came out. And there was 0 information on the web about any of it.

            Nin75, Bst75. Drk61, War61, Rdm40, All other jobs are 37. All 3 starting city missions completed. All Zilart missions completed. All CoP missions completed. TouA completed.

              Well, there was a time when xp needed to get to 75 was 50% more than it is now.
              And promies were harder.
              And xp loss from death was 10%
              Getting to outposts required walking.
              Chocobos at crags cost 2k+ with no shock value at all.
              Buying Erase meant selling your soul.
              There was no such thing as a warp cugel.
              Or quivers.
              Or toolbags.
              Easier doesn't mean stupid.

                  o guys i know i am sorta new to the sight.(made account 2005 but only read most of the time) but with SE doing all the adds and stuff, does it seem like more people are comeing back to the forums? or is it just me lol?

                    You forgot to add the MPK nerf. No more standing outside a zone for an hour because idiots keep zoning every mob in the area. Or having everyone in the jungle gang up on a gob. those were hilarious.

                      It used to be there were a lot more mobs on each floor or promy, and the portals were only open for a very very short period of time (like 15 seconds) instead of the 90 or so they are open now. Made promies very hard.

                      CoP was bloody hard work, but it gave a huge sense of achievement when you did complete it. I kinda feel sorry for the newer people who want to do the fights as they were, and not the watered down version - this comes from listening to Zammites 'ZOMG PROMIES R HARD, NERF PROMIES'.

                        fun times they where. they are makeing the game more like WoW i think(sorta), you can get anywhere you want in the game.(i mean i am a whm and i can get to just about anywhere in the game in under 10min) fights that took 100,000's of gil are cheap as hell now, fights that took maybe 30k exp lose dont lose anything on anymore, and now the kicker to people who lost like over 100k exp in CoP ,is anyone who starts doing it now GETS EXP.

                        next they will be telling us that all CoP mobs will only read EP in all the zones.

                          I lost 15k xp on the Pots BC alone - never mind the 7 Snoll attempts.

                            i got lucky on most of my CoP fights because by the time i got into the story and stuff there was info on most of them. But i still did them and lost tones of gil and EXP trying my ass to get me and my friends sea.

                            in total i had to lose over 100k exp i thinkm if not even more. gil forget about it. people in my staic where to darn lazy to farm the pumps. i farmed me and one friends and had to buy 4 others... and that took me like a week of hunting them down to buy them lol.

                            the salts where not hard to get but you need 2 of the items that where 50k+ at the time. and so i went out and farmed them lol

                            hmmm next they will say "Sea gods are just to hard, so they will now take 50% more dmg, also AV and JoL will no longer have high HP gain power, last we would like to tell you how to kill AV(AV is killed by......)"
