The development of "Wings of the Goddess", a new FINAL FANTASY XI expansion disc, was announced today at the SQUARE ENIX PARTY 2007.
In conjunction with this announcement, a new site has been created to provide the latest development details as they become available, as well as give fans the opportunity to view exclusive images from the expansion.

Interesting idea for an expansion, I guess. I can't get the site to work though for some reason. Everyone stop viewing it so I can! (I know that's not really the problem.)

Totally agreed. Omg, and I just love that video, espically just cause of the classic cutscenes from all the expansions were used in it. Plus... the music, <|Impossible to gauge.|>

There's a NPC i don't reckognize he appears right after the head of the tenshodo guy...the NPC is elvaan black hair...never seen him before...has anyone??

I think you are refering to the NPC Pirate from ToAU missions? Hes the only one I remember in it.

I haven't heard it before. But I don't pay too much attention to that sort of thing.

I'm just trying to figure out how they would implement these new (old) areas.

Wow, I have a friend that was really hoping for a time traveling crystal wars expansion. I can't see the site, but I'm amazed SE is indulging him (from what I hear)

Somehow I doubt SE is going to be so generous as to give us new jobs in this expansion since we just got 3 new jobs from the current one.

I have a feeling it's going to be a COP like expansion where it is only storyline/new areas, unlike the ROTZ and TOAU expansion where it was story/area and new jobs.
