Not sure if anyone else has posted this somewhere else but u can get 3 eggs a day,
1. Normal talkin to moogle,
2. Trading so many of a normal egg to the moogle ( bird eggs 12, lizards eggs 6 etc)
3. Mining etc (first time u use pickaxe will gt an egg wont get another till next day)

You can only get one egg from each of them every vanadiel day.

Yay for gathering Eggs to hand out to other players and trade them ^^ (seriously, who is greedy enough to make tosa money off of an Event... (hmmm, I think I said that incorrectly)) Any help on FFXI would be helpful.

I'll have to wait until I can re-access the registration server for that. Very frustrating though. I've had billing issues before, but this is new.

Getting a jeweled egg is pretty simple, and man does it look awesome in my mog.
First trade the first three letters of your name.
Next trade the first 5 letters of any of the starter level areas. I chose G-U-S-T-A(Gustaberg) because I had most of those letters. Since Bastok was in control of that area, I got the Bastok Egg furniture piece. (I did this from Windy, you don't have to be in that town). Once you get that egg, trade the same name again. So I traded G-U-S-T-A again, and I recieved the Jeweled egg. You DO NOT have to have all three areas to get the Jeweled Egg.

It might just be me, but it seems like event item furnishings are getting to be more cool all the time. I used to not give a rat's tail about most of them, but I've started a nice little collection of cool trinkets. Right now in my MH, I'm proudly displaying my blue choco trophy, mandragora lantern, timepiece, and airship model.

It doesn't look like I'll bother getting these eggs, but that jeweled egg looks cool, even out of an Easter celebration context.

Wow... I read that wrong at first... whoa.

Anyway, just wanted to comment, I busted out this quest yesterday on Easter. However I've yet to do the initial straight 8. (forgot about it honestly)

Has anyone done the Initial straight 8 yet to know what you get from it?

So far I have:
Egg helm - First 3 letters
Lamp egg - Gusta
Flower egg - Sarut
Wing egg - Ronfa
Jeweled egg - Gusta
Happy egg - 7 of the letter E
Fortune egg - 7 of the letter Q

Just wanted to see if I missed anything cool... thanks in advance.

a little summary + how to get orphic egg

First 3 letters of your name gets you an Egg Helm

Initial 8: First letter of your name, then the 7 following letters in the alpahabet you get a Happy egg
Example: Jeanrc = J K L M N O P Q egg

7 of A kind: 7 eggs of the same letter gets you a Fortune Egg
Example: 7x "A" egg

Orphic Egg = The element of the day, example earth day = E A R T H egg.
pls take note that wind day i think is A I R egg. this may be right or wrong as i only did on earth day with E A R T H egg.

Sandy egg: Trade RONFA in sandy gets you a Winged Egg

Basty Egg: Trade GUSTA in basty gets you a Lamp egg.

Windy Egg: Trade SARUT in windy gets you a Flower egg.

Jeuno Egg is called Jewelled Egg: Trade RONFA the 2nd time or GUSTA or SARUT for the 2nd time and you get it.

So why then..... do SE have us hunting for eggs when Easter is centerd more around rabbits, and not chickens? Hehe....
