    FINAL FANTASY XI Update (Mar. 12)
    At the following time, we performed a version update of FINAL FANTASY XI.

    * This update consists of a version upgrade of the client program. When you press the play button after the time stated below, the version upgrade will begin automatically. Please follow the instructions on the screen.

    [Important Update Details]
    The following issues have been addressed:

    - Thief's job ability, "Aura Steal" may sometimes cause a forced termination on both the ability user and nearby players.

    - A program issue that caused "gil" to be displayed as "gils" in auction house-related messages.

    Of course, we know that some intentionally used Aura Steal for...other reasons while that bug was up. And I was wondering why "gils" was there instead of Gil... Oh well, it's all fixed now!

    What an awesome update, my game crashes everytime I try to load it now after updating.

            So what is the glitch with DRK/SAM? With Seigan and Dread Spikes you don't take any damage?

              Recast with Seigan up should be over 4 minutes, yet you can recast in just seconds later.

                Seigan and Hasso switching is why the recast is so short.

                  Seigan is supposed to add /recast +50% to all spells. So Dread Spikes & Drain should then have a /recast of 4:30. Well as long as you use the spell from a macro, you can recast the spell 10 seconds after finishing the previous casting. So you can have Dread Spikes up at all times.

                  I went and tested this the other night with Drain II as well. Works just like Dread Spikes' glitch. I also found out that the HP boost doesn't stack with itself. So I did a Drain II and returned 275HP. 2nd Drain II did 232HP, so my HP "lowered" instead of stacking the 232 on to the 275HP and my base HP. I was hoping to get my HP to 2k and then Souleater Guillotine something for the sheer fun of it. No such luck.

                            Changing "gils" back to "gil" is the finest example of S/E fixing something we bitched about quickly that I've ever seen. Well done, on that part. "Gils" is just unnatural.
