Patch isn't downloadable as yet - as soon as it is, you can bet the dataminers will have started.

All the other forums are going loopy now.

They're having a hard time bitching about this update thus far. Lets hope the reality of the issues is as good as the fantasy.

I'm SO looking foward to those Signet benefits.

LoO better get something good even if it is just a rare/ex K. club. I was chatting in Linkshell about how bad I feel for him because he doesn't drop anything.

Awesome stuff. This jumped out at me as a small but nice change (I've finished CoP, but it'll be nice for helping others):

Players will no longer lose experience points when KO’d in Chain of Promathia mission battlefields.

Do you think the current prices for the items (Fuma, Speedbelt etc) would fall because of this? I guess some people would rather go for the rare/ex items ...

Amazing! I'm so giddy I almost passed out. Huge update and since I've recently got sky, I was hoping to maybe get a chance to actually kill something there without it being cherrypicked by botting RMT. Awesome! The drop rate change on the "non-fish" should clear out the 300-count Qufim fishbot problem on Asura. I noticed that yesterday, between the time I was at work to the time I came home, the population of Qufim Island dropped from 300+ to a scant 130.

I'm so glad they changed that time duration on the CN Map quest. This is a great help to people who enjoy map-hunting (like myself) and any newer characters who have recently had to take an entire month to get just one map.

{Congratulations!} LoO on your new droppable.

The creepy puppet dude looks really awesome. SE's artistry, as always, is stellar.

                      Diablo-style assault missions--awesome.

I can finally get rid of that stack of Bronze Coins that's been cluttering up my moghouse, though I'll probably reserve a few for Synthesis Assistance.

My casino-running LS mates will be disheartened to hear that their favorite method of income has been usurped by SE licensed gaming tables. At least I won't have to listen to all the casino shouts in Lower Jeuno anymore.

New syntheses and puppet parts are always nice, but no bonus to the Puppetmaster proper. /sigh... They need a Stealth Screen II for the poor Sharpshot that takes terrible beatings in party. Maybe that's one of the new parts.

What was wrong with the range of Wild Carrot and Magic Fruit?

Aww... and I spent the better half of an half hour to make sure I don't have to worry about locker leasing until August, 03, 2007... Damn it...
I suppose my only complaint is that. Why don't they take Gold Imperial coins instead? And it would fill out 1 month in advanced?

omg rare/ex fuma kyahan and okote LOL. Dont understand that, they havent exactly been hard to claim on Hades for a long time, not that Ive ever noticed when camping anyway. In fact, Ive never seen more than 1-2 RMT on those items except speed belt. Do other servers have a bad problem with RMT on these NMs?

Loving the spawned Ulli and Sozu :D Lets just hope the RMT dont monopolise the items required to pop it. Gogo rare/ex pop items. Oh wait..that wont work.

Edit: Anyone noticed the cool new online icon in POL? Its awsome.

Maybe not on Hades, but here on Asura Jujitsu Gi, and OKote are still hunted by GS. I'm not sure about Fuma Kyahan.

First off, that new online POL icon was the first thing I noticed. It's great, and I can't help but think it's a sign of significant changes coming to POL in the near future. Possibly the addition of a new game or two, we'll see.

To the main point, now. Sometimes it isn't RMTs that are the problem with heavily camped NMs. Sometimes it's normal players farming NM drops for massive amounts of gil. While they may not be breaking TOS by selling that gill for real money, they're no less a problem as RMT for people camping NMs for the drops so they can use the drops. I firmly support NMs dropping rare/ex items, and I am just as much in support of moving non-rare/ex drops into BCs. The end result of this is that every time someone gets an NM's drop, that's one less person camping for it (or if it's a full PT of people all going after it, the sixth drop results in six less people going after it), which means getting an NM drop is much more likely to occur. Meanwhile, those who want to make gil can simply farm up beastman seals and BC the drops to their heart's content, something that has never seemed to bother normal players, though it does appear to stymie RMTs.

And I can't help but wonder what those rusty items synth into now....
