      Intresting abilites....but the other stuff seems like they are trying to make FFXI super easy like some other MMO...(or at lest make low-leveling easier)

          Seeing as how
          2 players is 25% exp bonus
          3 players is 22% exp bonus
          4 players is 12% exp bonus
          5 players is 05% exp bonus

          I'm interested in seeing how well this will hold through till TOAU zones can be exped in and also the trend in which people will exp in the old zones. What I mean is will people start to only form duo/trio PTs? How well will this work compared to a 6 man PT killing ITs while a 2 to 3 man PT chain kills T to VTs? What will the standard be? I'm interested in all of that. I mean can you imagine trio of COR, WAR(Some DD that can DD and tank), and a mage (some mage that can DD and heal) running through evens-tough? I mean that's like 22% exp bonus + COR exp roll.......it'll defeintly be something interesting for sure

          As far as people's concern about the game losing it's difficult....I highly doubt that, until you see someone who can hit 75 in a week or 2 while casually playing. All they are doing is making the grind more acceptable and encouraging players to take on more jobs. There are times when I want to lvl something, but I just can't deal with the grinding because it's sooooo tedious. These changes make it a bit more acceptable. At least for me.

          SE is seriously in love with DRKs or something though . . . . . .

            So solo (as in BST) get a 25% bonus with signet also I assume. That will be damn nice w/ring bonus also.

            Still hoping they do some BST specific job mods this update also though.

              Nope - take a look at the chart again. Solo used to get 100 xps for the mob and now they get... 100 xps for the mob. The xp bonus seems to only apply for parties where it offsets the loss you take for dividing the xps.

              For soloers the nice part is being able to rest and keep TP as well as the +Def and +Eva vs the mob your fighting.

              Overall pretty neat changes, and way more than I was expecting from this update. Should be fun to see how it effects the xp rate when my wife and I duo too.

                I agree, the recent releases of info for the comming update is surprising. Hopefully the final release of the update will be filled with some more interesting changes as well.

                  I think it has more to do with reinvigorating pre-ToAU exp camps. Lots of people said they wouldn't go back to Signet xp until SE made some balance to the the Sanction bonuses.

                      For those saying this is making the game "too easy":

                      Where are you exping lately?
                      Why are you EXPing there?
                      How hard are the mobs?

                      Save yourselves the trouble, I'll tell ya.

                      (1) ToA
                      (2) EXP Bonus
                      (3) Easy

                      If your answers correspond with 1, 2 and 3 and you do 1, 2 and 3 actively, please take any "dumbing down" or "making it easier" comments to the nearest hypocrisy processing agent.

                      Also, what is "unfair pulling practices?"

                      I was thinking right way "Lullaby Nerf," but didn't see anything in regards to pulling practices.

                      All these changes I file under "Too Good to be True," so I smell some Nerfga in future updates. /looks at Blood Weapon.

                          Have noticed over the past month that the LV50+ Conquest areas are deader than a DRK spamming souleater/LR/Berserk/BW + SA/WS pre 60..... oh wait.. with the new spells, DRK can mitigate that damage .... !!!!11111

                          So, ... w/the new signet changes, do you take like 2 WAR/NINS a RDM and a COR and go kill robbers in kuftal at LV55+? Is that similiar to doing meripo and bones pts as far as xp is concerned?

                          I'd like to xp in Conquest areas again cuz I need Conquest items like Rep.Gold medal lol...

                          I'm up to my armpits in Beseiged points....

                            Only thing I really don't like about this is:

                            As a BST, I was looking forward to PTs G'nTFO of RoZ areas so they don't think they can tell me where to EXP. While I'm sure most people will still go to ToA zones, I forsee more duos and trios invading the places I camp as BST and killing off all my pet mob potential. This on top of the level 75 nimrods out killing mobs to level their lame NPCs already.

                              Poor BST, have to compete for mobs just like everyone else.

                                Oh its no problem man, we'll just camp on top of you - just like everyone else.

                                Really though, if you haven't taken BST to 35, stfu and gtfo, you don't really understand the job. If you took BST to 35 and beyond with the assist of a PL, your perspective and "experience" is null and void.
