    heh I wish they don't require a "full" set of AFv2 to store them. If so, make my Rdm hat drop more please.

        I'm guessing this isn't the last details announcment ... because this one doesn't mention the chocobo racing.

        Hopefully the next details announcment contains even more great additions.. especially to a few of the jobs.

        but so far so good.

          What will usually happen is S-E will start out with something that spits out a lot of info at once, just small tidbits. Then over the next few weeks, every 2-4 days, they will have an other announcement covering 1-2 "major" changes happening in the update, but they can be pretty underwhelming sometimes. (An example might be Job Adjustments, changes to Besieged, pics of new items.) Then about 2-3 days before the update, they will drop the bomb on the new big thing. (Examples from the past would be Dynamis, Limbus, Salvage and Merit changes). Then the update happens and we (for the most part) rejoice.

          That being said, I have to get my butt back to Dynamis so I can complete my Summoner's Attire set. (Missing horn, but haven't set foot in Dynamis for nearly 9 months...I think...I can't remember.)

                I think the merit tweaks are done for this update.

                Job updates? What jobs have they said they will be tweaking in the future?

                I estimate the update will be done on about 5th March, which means we still have at least 2 weeks of facts dribbling out.

                  BLM, BST, and THF I think.

                  With the new merits and better damage daggers, Thieves are doing alot better for themselves(but a few more adjustments to make them better or at least equal to a DRK/THF for hate controll), but aside for some new merits BLM and BST have been untouched.

                      It is broke. BST is weak endgame in a normal setup, and the jugs that would bring it up to snuff are prohibitably expensive.

                          As far as jobs, if they are changing anything, they may still announce it later.

                            All of them were slated to receive updates. Some jobs have got some if not all their updates. Everybody else wants to know if their job gets changed this time.

                            Please don't be RDM turn. I want to be playing again when they do whatever to RDM.

                                Except that we're not given any job traits/abilities to enhance our melee ability, we need more uncapped jug pets (leechfamiliar please), alternative recipies for high-end HQ jug pets, ToA mob family jug pets as well ... which is really just colibri (the Apkallu aren't charmable... WTF).

                                That's actually another point - more new, charmable mobs. Most are just repaints of older mobs. Then there's the chimera-type, which are uncharmable. I don't think puddings are charmable even though they traditionally classify as an amorph family mob, I guess SE doesn't want us with pets that can do AM, yet, that never stopped them from letting us charm worms and hecteyes.

                                I'd also like to see Sic become a state we can turn on and off for our pets, that or lower the recast timer on it. If SE won't let us choose our pet's special attacks, but will let BLU spam them at will, at least make it so our pets use thier TP more often.
