So yey for us Europeans, No FFXI at all for the whole day as it covers from 5pm to 1am.... Joy
For the US the times are 9am-5pm PST.
So basically they are upgrading the servers.

Unfortunately us Europeans aren't playing FF12, cause we have to wait for them to translate into French German and Italian first, so no relief there . It is out in February here.

No upgrading, just maintenance. Check UPS, make sure everything is working right, and problably run a few diagnostics and replace whatever comes up bad. I do the same thing monthly at work, although i dont have the pride to be working at SE

Last 'server replacement' they did, it took about 12 hours. It should be interesting to see how today goes.

Where the POL servers anyway? Are all the servers in Japan, or are the POL servers in California, while the FF servers are in Japan?

Awesome - looks hawt, even on lo-res (my graphics card is on the low end) - storyline as good as ever, and just generally fun!

I must be seriously unlucky lol, I haven't logged on to FFXI for God knows how long because of PSU and FFXII. And the first time I decide to log on I catch the maintence. That was a mood killer for sure x.x
