Re: Action Taken Against Third-Party Tool Users (10/19/2006)

Well all I can say to this is...... WOOOOWW!!
    1,400 PlayOnline accounts hey??
Does this mean that 1,400 players have been prevented from playing FFXl because they have been using third party tools which are illegal to the terms and agreement of the use of FFXl?
    GOOD GRIEF INDEED!!
I cannot stress enough how shocked I am at that number!!
I know that FFXl is a very big online game, and that there are over several servers on the go at once, but I never anticipated that it could house this number of players at any one time! (even with a great number of those who have been playing against the rules) Good gosh indeed!
So now that those accounts have been terminated, (from a vast number of naughty little girls and boys who have wronged the terms and conditions of the game ) what are people's estimates here at the number who still play FFXl to this day?
    Any ideas anyone?

Won't be back on the same char hey? Hmm..... does that mean that whoever made illegal use of the game, could still create another account if they wished to do so, but would have to start all over again with a new char? But as long as they don't make the same mistakes again, then they should be fine. Is that correct?

Well crap, you're right. Excuse me for a moment, I need to go stand in a corner and feel really old/embarrassed. Man, we had this lousy of MMORPG graphics in *this* decade/century/millenium? /shiver.

Edit: After careful consideration of pages 2-4 of this thread, it occurs to me that there really isn't anything more constructive I can add to this discussion. Except for the following link: http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/ultimate+showdown/
