Correct that info is listed under the bullet for the changes to Ashu Talif.

      Participation Requirements
Players can participate regardless of mercenary rank once having progressed to a certain point in the Treasures of Aht Urhgan storyline (Aht Urhgan missions).

      Level Restrictions and Member Requirements
In the current Assault missions, it is possible to impose a voluntary level restriction on your mercenary party. However, the new quests based on the Assault system are all unrestricted, with no option for setting level limits.
Member requirements will remain the same, with 3 to 6 mercenaries required to undertake these quests.

      Rewards
After defeating a notorious monster, a treasure chest will appear. The contents of this treasure will differ depending on certain conditions.

This is very true. I just checked out the chocobo "Related Details" and saw SE has updated and corrected their example Care Plan graphics. w00t!

              Some of the new equipments that caught my eyes;

Source: http://www.live-emotion.com/ff11/upd...te/2006-10-19/ (Sorry, it's only in Japanese.)

              H2H:
Hades Sainti +1, DMG 19, Delay +49, Lv70, WAR MNK BST NIN PUP, Accuracy +9, Evasion +9, Subtle Blow +9, Enmity +9
(NQ version is DMG 18, Delay +51, and all additional numbers being 7 instead of 9. Though Enmity+ is somewhat a con, it still is a great piece that could possibly replace Destroyers. Nevertheless, though it's a synth item, as the name "Hades" tells, it must be using a hard-to-get item.)

              GSword:
              Gold Algol +1, DMG 85, Delay 474, Lv73, DRK, Accuracy +4, ATK +4
(NQ vesion is DMG 84, Delay 489, Accuracy +4, no ATK bonus. It's gold! Gotta look nice!)

              Katana:
Ryumon (RareEx), DMG 38, Delay 227, Lv70, NIN, Latent: Increases ATK
(Depending on the latent condition and by how much, this'll replace Fudo even for merit parties, I think.)

              Throw:
Koga Shuriken, DMG 88, Delay 192, Ranged ATK +10
(Yet another Shuriken, but this time w/ DMG 88. Wonder how much damage it'll do w/ Sange. And no, it's not a Rare-attribute item.)

              Body:
Kyudogi, DEF 42, Lv70, RNG SAM, Ranged Acc +7, Ranged ATK +7, Evasion +7, Enhances "Resist Blind," Magic Damage taken -2%
("Kyudogi" means "Archery Uniform," and likely the one that Galka was wearing in that pic. HQ version's stat is DEF 43, all of those +7's being +9, and Magic damage taken is -3%. Very nice piece for RNG's.)

Corselet, DEF 44, Lv71, PLD DRK, Accuracy +6, ATK +6, Enhances "Resist Silence," Magic ATK +7, Magic Acc +7
(Must be the one that Hume was wearing in that pic. Not a good piece to be worthwhile as compared to Hauby though.)

              Hands:
Ice Gauntlets (RareEx), DEF 16, Lv52, PLD DRK, STR +4, VIT +4, Accuracy +4, hMP +1, Physical Damage: "Ice Spikes" effect
(Acc and STR, nice for merit PLD's. But I wonder what it'd look like...)

              Legs:
Barb. Zerehs (RareEx), DEF 36, Lv 75, WAR MNK THF BST BRD RNG SAM NIN DRG COR PUP, STR +4, VIT +4, Haste +3%
(Obviously, Byakko's Haidate for other jobs. But it's RareEx and is Lv 75, so might be a HNM drop.)

Mage gears? Well, my highest mage lvl is WHM 39 lol

Cool, it's nice to know Rangers finally have a new body piece before Pahluwan/Osode. Ranged Accuracy *and* Ranged Attack is very nice. And the +1 version is pretty much AF +Ratk. Thank you, SE.

I'm excited for the whole thing. I only need 3 more levels on my Ottoman Home City on AGE III before I get the last 3 cards I need so I very soon I'll be playing FFXI alot more. At least I hope... I still have the problem of being unable to find a blue male chocobo to breed mine with though >.>

Great indirect solution to the ulli- sky RMT problem, hopefuly this is a resnable HNM drop but will probably be a drop from the new assault quest.

I just finish the patch and playing SAM now.. seems that Hasso and Seigan have a 1 min /recast timer, and last for more that 1 min.. is it a bug @@?

Edit 1: looks like Hasso and Seigan last 5 minutes, with 1 min /recast timer.

Edit 2: with Seigan, Thrid Eye /recast timer cut down to 30 second. With 1 min timer for both Hasso and Seigan, and each Hasso or Segian can last 5 min, SAM can switch between Hasso and Segian back and forth, for Third Eye... it seems very powerful for migrating damage...

Edit 3: Just changed job to WAR/SAM, seems that Hasso is weaker when /SAM.

Yes it's in the patch note. 1 min recast 5 min duration not stacking.
