It's nice to see that they're still releasing this extra reading material at PlayOnline.com. I was kinda disappointed when they cancelled the Vana'diel Tribune, but I guess they still are putting some of their old writers to work after all.

I'm all ready for some witch hunting. Got a torch, a jug of Oil and a pitchfork. Who's got enough ranks in Woodworking to make some sturdy lynching poles?

We all know that this is going to give the white mage a new job ability called "Turn Undead". Com'n guys/gals you need to read deeper into this.

I just wanna say that fugly+1 RDM JSE from the last pic is scarier than all the witches of Vana put together.

we have great stats for subligars too.
There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.

                Yay for nightmares tonight!

Come to think of it, why don't they just bring the Tribune back? It was a much better way for finding out about all these stuff, and it was really a big part of the XI experience (at least for me).

Ya know, now that I can see the pics on the site I noticed something. In the first pic, with the line of witches, there's only five of the six shown. Only the arm of the last one can be seen...and it looks like a Galka arm.

Well did they every specifically state they were all female?

And there's always the fact that galka have no 'real' gender.

Though it could be another case of this

Edit: Also, it looks like some of them are wearing the same blm hat seen in the 'new recepie and armor' announcment. Just an observation is all.

Actually, yes, they do. Galka are male.

One of the main storyboard directors for the game already established the fact that Galka are male in an interview. I'll quote his exact words if you so desire.
