      Since you felt the need to necro a 2 year old thread for a question that was more or less already answered in a thread you started, let me reiterate it for you.

      Find recipes by: Talking to guild members, FFXIClopedia (or other online resource), DAT mining, guessing.

      The first two options should really be something I don't need to tell you.

          I know I should limit posts to a thread like this to making fun of the bump itself, but... gah, have to make thread-topic-appropriate comment! Anyway, I know a Mage+Cook who actually got Patissier just to be able to make Buche au Chocolat for use with mage jobs, considering it a nice balance of effects with a good hMP emphasis. Just need to be sure your melees get out of range if you have any. So no, group foods aren't entirely worthless. Haven't seen any good melee ones myself, though.

          And curious as to why the new item/source of speculation never ended up described here. Oh well. Angler Stewpot looks pretty useless, it's an HP/MP food, heavy on the HP. Might be interesting for a low level (pre-dunes) party due to static MP bonus and good hHP. For reference:
          * Group Food Effects
          * HP +10%
          * MP +10
          * HP Recovered While Healing +5
          * MP Recovered While Healing +1

            No! This is by far a much better use of everyone's time than making fun of the necro bumper! I'm even guilty of doing it and I shouldn't. Thank you for taking the time to help, it is appreciated!
