I don't think they will ever exclusively target it. If they did a mass windower break/banning or whatever they would lose a pretty large market share that they can't afford to lose.

I'd be less people playing at all, though Balfree, and I don't think that SE can stand to lose the number of subscribers that they'd lose if they broke windower forever (and really that would be almost impossible to do anyway, considering the ingenuity of the people who write these programs).

Ideally they'd just co-opt it and make it a default part of the game. Then everyone (on PC) benefits, and they don't lose any subscribers.
