but seriously, the mithran girl in rulude <_< she sells 3 types of eggs, usually, and the other 2 are from a certain ISNM :x ive also heard that you get one from a quest, but im not certain

For nearly a year we were out of contact with SE entirely.

I didn't mean what I said as a good thing.



Remember the whole BST nerf/MPK "Fix"? Personally, I miss the danger when partying near a zoneline, it really made you have to decide between a 'safe' place, and a more out of the way place. Not to mention what it did to BSTs, and how now with their "Improvements", shared hate and claims are all sorts of fucked up.


Of course, it all stemmed from a thread on allakhazam, this was what people "Wanted", but in reality, half the people on this planet don't have a clue in the world what they want. SE really needs to listen less to their playerbase. You know what most people want? Golden Saucer, Ultima, Utsusemi:San. Results: Lots of people drawn away from PTing- focused in one area- and thus lag; Lots of people fighting over one source of the scroll- or an incredibly powerful scroll which can be obtained easily- or another Holy- or worst of all: BLMs that spam one spell for everything; and lastly- another expensive spell all ninjas would be required to have, even though they'd only cast it for an extra tiny shadow before a fight began, then switch off to Ni and Ichi again.

No. Why do you think we know? It's not listed on the site plus nobody's egg up to date has hatched yet.

It's an estimated guess that it will take 5 days to hatch. If the entire period to raise a chocobo is 1 month, it would'nt make sense for the egg period to be any more than a week.

I'm on my 2nd Status Report 'day'. You get one, it seems, every 24 hours from when you initially trade your egg to the Caretaker. Since I started mine on Monday about six hours after the servers were back up, you're probably still only on your 2nd status report also.

I'll find out tonight if the 3rd Status Report is when the egg hatches, but I can't help but feel it's going to be the 5th or 7th Status Report when it finally breaks out of its shell. With each report being every 24 hours, waiting for your egg to hatch will be either 72 hours to 168 hours from the initial trade.

So.. well.. patience.

You can also get eggs from the chocobos on the loose quest. You get the quest from Brutes in upper Jueno. The egg you get says its a bit warm.

you get the quest from the same guy you do the quest for to get to ride a chocobo, in upper Jeuno
