I thought I made it very clear. The plans are WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE FOR THEM TO BE. The VCS will then CARRY OUT THE PLAN FOR YOU, FOR THAT AMOUNT OF DAYS YOU PICK.


You can pick WHICHEVER ones you want (possibly some need unlocking), and pick the time of days that will last.


Do I need to clarify THAT?

You can modify up to 4 tasks into the plans. The reason all 4 of your tasks say basic care is because that is all that is currently available to you. As your chocobo grows more options will become available and you could change the plans to whatever you desire. Say you gain the option of Listen to music. You could change Plan 0, 1, 2, or 3 to listen to music. This will leave your plans looking like this:

Plan 0: Listen to music
Plan 1: Basic Care
Plan 2: Basic Care
Plan 3: Basic Care

Hope that clears it up a little.

Thanks bikke. That clears it up. So basically, I'll be able to assign certain traits to each plan after it hatches.

As for colors, I want a camo chocobo.
I think they've shown yellow, red, blue, green, and black. Atleast as .dats anyway.
And color me confused, has the raising already started? Why did I think it was starting until next week? My head hurts.

Has anybody had their egg hatch yet?

Mine keeps wanting to say that it really wants out, and I have been 'watching over it' a lot! This thing better like me and be well behaved!

As far as I know, none of them have hatched and ALL of th'em want to get out of their egg. It's probably going to take a matter of a week or so for us to get babies on our hands.

If I remember right, the raising process takes a month? Or is that the amount if time until our Chocobo can be ridden. And is this week of trying to get our of the week included in this month?

I think Mog was just speculating on the hatch in a week thing. The month is what SE said it would take to get an adult Chocobo, but I'm not sure if that was a month for egg>adult or chick>adult.

I don't think it will be a week to get babies, maybe a few days. I don't see 1/4 of egg>adult being egg stage. I'd imagine 1/2 week for egg, 1.5 weeks for chick, and 3 weeks of young chocobo. Animals don't tend to stay in chick, puppy, etc. stage long IRL.

Then again, this is all speculation, too.

For an update: I started my egg Monday night (10:30pm cst for those interested), Tuesday night, about 25 hours after I initially traded it, the caretaker (not sure what to call them) gave me a quick cut-scene that was a Day 1 Status report.

Not sure if this was because of the 1 day care package I had set up or not. I don't have any options except for Basic Care yet, so I just randomly set them up and made wild guesses.

My mule just grew a ton of one of the Wildgrasses (T-something I think, I hate my fuzzy memory) using Wildgrass Seeds + Brass Pot + Fire crystal. Plus some A. grass and Sharug grass.
