      The great thing is that the uprising of gilseller Blm parties will be squelched under SEs comically oversized foot.

      So I'm happy. Even if all the work I put into Blm is screwed. As long as the sellers have a hard time.

              For the people thinking that the only way to kill Diabolos is with a BLM manaburn party, you're wrong... 2 MNKs + a BRD + a RDM/DRK can take him down very quickly. BRD does Soul Voice double Minuet on the MNKs and they unload with Hundred fists on Diabolos while the RDM does Chainspell Stun. Diabolos dies before Hundred Fists even wears off.

              Back on topic... I'm a BLM75 and I'm not fazed by this (maybe because I have another 75 job, but meh), and I don't think other BLMs should be either. To all the other BLMs out there, no, SE is not out to get us. Besides, this gives other jobs a fighting chance at being in an alliance. Rather than taking 5 black mages into a HNM killing alliance, we can only take 2 or so, allowing for more combinations of other jobs. Sure, HNMs will probably take twice as long now, but now they're no joke (unless you're experienced). HNMs and NMs will be meant the way people were meant to take them on now.

              Also, to whoever is saying "SMNs deserve this nerf too!" (can't find the post), I laugh at you. SMNs in later levels don't use their Tier II and IV nukes as much as they would use their level 70 Blood Pacts (which are physical, by the way). The only big blood pact that may get affected from this is Thunderspark, so all SMNs are in the clear.

                Some details will be seen next week.

                But some answers and most likely impliementations.

                Resistance up and down, are probably very rapid in both directions.

                Meaning

                Tgax6 @30=massive resistance

                where

                Tga x2@10
                <next>
                Tga x2@10
                <next>
                Tga x2@10
                =Almost no resistance

                This makes a HNM/NM allaince be much more diverse In its in's and outs.

                Just like having 15rngs 3tanks 1whm , it's now more like 2 rng, 3 sams, 3 smn, 2 blm, etc.

                Of course this will make stuff harder, after all, fighting at max tweak is always faster then fighting at all-rounder.

                But it makes it more "fair" in recuiting.

                SE will be looking at this closely to be expected and tweak the resistance up and down stages.

                Think of it like a racing game. It would be great if the course was straight, but with turns, you're forces to stop holding down your accelerate button, and actually use skill.

                As for the question of Dyanmis Stones.

                It won't matter 1 lick unless you recuited a whole bunch of lvl 50 blms.

                Stones died in 2-3 casts. They will bearely get enough resistances before they drop.

                On the Megaboss though...Heh that's interesting...

                    Anyone who leaves BLM for another popular DD job was the reason SE decided on this Nuke-nerff to begin with.

                    Just like Ranger, those who are playing that job class for the love of the playstyle, and not for the ease of impact, will stay, ajust, and still be just as good as they were before.

                    Those who are looking for a quick 'big bang' out of a job class will move on to the next exploit, showing SE where to make the next fix.

                    Its a symbotic relationship really. SE is making a use out of the cheep-sucking lazy players to show them where the imbalances are in the game.

                            While SMN might be the ideal "next big job", you have to wonder how many bandwangon people are going to be able to stomach playing /WHM for 70 lvls. SMNs lvling SMN cause they like SMN, hate it. Honestly if people do that, whatever. Be good little sheep and let me heard you off a cliff.

                            While people have every right to be worried, I really think they need to stop acting like its the end of the world and the game is being (insert choice of cuss word) over. Every "nerf" has forced people to adjust, at least those who want to play the job because they still like it. People still play RNG, people still play BST, people still play DRG. All 3 of those jobs got hit, and by golly people still play them. They learned to accept the changes and adjusted their play accordingly.

                            Imo playing a job so A) You get invites to HNM alliances to be allowed to fight, B) you can strut your virtual chest because of the high damage you do, C) Because you think your other job(s) is(are) weak because they cant do constant high damage, is just sad. If thats why you play an MMORPG, leave now because frankly, thats just stupid.

                                You'd be surprised at A) What people are willing to do to be the strongest class endgame and B) How fast they can level 1-70 without main healing at all.

                                Just a bit of uber gear here, a Fenrir and Diabolos there...
