I'm going to pretend that the Chocobo delay is due to the additional responses from players (which SE specifically requested).

In actuality, it's probably due to the fact that Management, Marketing, and the Programming Dept don't coordinate very well.

Management: Hmm. We're not making enough money. Marketing, come up with some good Hype!
Marketing: You've got it! Hype HYPE h-y-p-e~~~~~
Programming: WTF??? We're still fixing bugs from the previous years and haven't finished programming the last 200 requested additions to the game. Try hiring some more programmers, Management! We're about to commit seppuku!

I think I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear what I just heard. Chocobos? What Chocobos. I am seriously dissapointed. The fact is I was very hyped up about Chocobos. They shouldn't of hyped us up and take it away. It should of been checked more closely before leading out information. I think I would of been fine without knowing about Chocobo raising. I feel like a kid who's candy has been taken away from. I guess though once I do get to raise them it will be more rewarding and meaningful.

I would rather wait (though they should have it together after the 3+ months) for it to actually work, but it's still a big disappointment. If it wasn't looking good they should have never given us so many teasers.

To the cynical ones: Hey hey hey now. If you recall, they said that they will release the update late July. July 14th is mid-July. So the full update should come sometime around the 25~30, maybe even earlier.

I probably won't be doing anything Chocobo, so I'm not worried much.

Well, it's a dissapointment, but I gotta be farming and levelling anyways, probably wouldn't have the time for Chocobo raising just now, despite how much I was looking forward to it.

I say let 'em fix what was wrong.

Then again I seem to not be quite invested as some people in it.
